Hey, what to say awesome video thank you. Me and the wife just got our Falcon 2 (its the wifes) for setup she has been experiencing some error 9 and GRBL errors. I am hoping after coping your setting in lightburn as well as using the step tool we "should" be able to dial in the issues. Thank you again for your information. Will update in the comments later.
Complete Noob here. Do you have a video on how to center your laser on your object? I've seen a coup-le other videos but it wasnt for the Falcon2. I have the 40 watt.
Really nice video demonstrating the possibilities with the laser engraver. I saw in a previous video (could also be more recent from your standpoint) that you had an xtool 10W (?) laser cutter. Did you swap out the xtool for the creality or vice versa? Why?
What is the best way to import your own design of a wooden part. Could you just take a picture of it and import it? or would you have to scan it, or draw it out in the software?
For the second tumbler, did you turn the graphics in Lightburn to have the text horizontal when the tumbler is upright? I just did my first one with a cheap tumbler I got at Walmart and the text was vertical even though in Lightburn it was horizontal. Just wondering if you discovered that after your first one?
This video caused me problems. Also the output needs to be mirrored in the rotary setup in order for the letters to come out correctly. Also for the Creality Rotary you need the roller diameter to be 17mm and the mm per rotation to be 53mm. Please update this video. Thankfully I did my learning on an old tumbler that I didn't really care about.
Thank you for watching! It's strange that you had problems. I've never performed the rotary setup in LightBurn or made any changes. I've engraved a lot of tumblers and glassware without any issue. I'm not sure what might be different between our setups. - Ed
@@WolfRidgeWoodworking The manual that came with the rotary tool states that you need to change the $101 setting to use the rotary tool. $101 needs to be changed to 60.375 when using the rotary. Until I made changes in the settings my artwork was a mirror image of how it was set in Lightburn. @kennethwilford9616 thank you for sharing your settings.
Were you using the 22W or 40W setting in this video?
22w
I just got this laser in my workshop and am browsing other videos on it. Your video is great! It's clear, concise, and very helpful!

The rotary attachment out of another machine at 1:30......would you be able to share where to find that? Slipping with the Creality one is a problem.
Did you get a reply on this? I too would like to get this attachment if possible
I did not.
@@AmyWeller it's the rotary pro kit. it's sold by creality.

Hello, how are you, at minute 5.40 you started recording on a glass glass, so would it be possible to do it on a glass candle as well ?
