Jerry is the literally most useful and likeable side character in the history of this show.
While watching this show, I've seen eyes getting shot out, throats getting slit by cannibals, a barbed wire decorated bat completely smash two guys heads apart, and heads getting put on pikes.
And yet I was much more disturbed when Alpha had sex with Negan while still wearing her mask. How is this possible? 😂😂

Jerry should never die in the show since he didn't in this episode because him holding up that rock to get everyone else out would have been the perfect fitting heroic death. The only death he would deserve.

But Jerry is more like a side character not a main character. There are better main characters they have killled off like Glenn, Abraham, Andrea, Sasha, Beth, Hershel and Carol. But people do have to die eventually and they are in a zombie apocalypse

everybody complaining about carol, but it makes sense, she lost so much and use to getting revenge when she wants, but with alpha moves around and carol never knows when she will get an opportunity, writing makes sense, character has been around 10 seasons sooner or later the hurt and pain catches up, you get careless

Her character is fine. Whats stupid is nobody is stopping her. From the moment she tried to shoot Alpha its clear she's too emotional to be out in the field. Nobody in their right mind would let her come.

The episode is far easier to see in the dark. I know that wouldn't make for a great reaction but I didn't have any problems seeing what was happening.
I agree with you, loved the idea of what they're doing but I just couldn't see shit!! Very frustrating! I think Connie and Magna will be ok. Im scarred for life from the Negan/Alpha scene. Cant wait for the next episode!

I recommend you atleast watch seasons 9 & 10. They are extremely intriguing, emotional, tense, etc etc etc. Yes I am aware that it is hard for people to get back into the show after the massive (to put it in the nicest way possible) train wreck of seasons 7 & 8, but I can promise you that 9 & 10 have made a major come back with the remnants left behind after Gimple’s poor choices. Personally, these new seasons feel as good as the first 5 seasons just by the sheer amount of actual good storytelling and plot. Obviously, it will feel different without many of the og characters such as Rick, Carl, and soon Michonne, but sometimes I often forget about them to begin with because the story is just that compelling and * in some ways* fills in that void. Gimple may have murdered the show, but Angela has done an astounding job thus far. You don’t have to like it, it’s only a matter of opinions, but you should ultimately watch it yourself. A reaction video can only tell you so much. But I promise you that 9 & 10 are really good seasons with the resources and characters they had left after the massacre of 7 & 8.
Going to disagree heavily with the person above me. The show is full of even more filler. The only characters who die are background characters, not even the supporting cast. It's boring and predictable.

@@ljdj1238 yup agreed. I've been a fan of the comic and show since middle school to me season 8 was a insult. I really didnt think 9 was gonna be good but I'll admit the writing got 10x better. This new season admittedly a bit slow but this new episode really was well passed.
Carl's death was the most idiotic decision of the show. Fuck Scott Gimple. This show would be 100 times better with Carl still on it.
MadMaxPyro Carl’s actor asked to be killed of because he wanted to focus on his life more that the show. It’s not fair to force an actor to play a role they don’t wanna play anymore.

They could have just ended season 8, jump to 9 and say carl Is gone with a group of people and we just dont see him. There is no reason to kill him off and it was a terrible decision.

I still feel for Carol, even though she fucked up here. I totally get it. She's lost 4 kids, been an abused spouse (so even though she's empowered now, she still has that battered wife syndrome going on, I think.) Look what she did in Season 3-killed Karen and David and got kicked out for taking matters into her own hands. She's always been a wildcard. As a mother myself, though, i can say 100% if someone cuts off my kid's head and mounts it on a pike, I'm going full tilt scorched earth fucking psycho, too! There would be no place on this planet they could hide. It's interesting, because Carol is now where Daryl and Maggie were in season 9 with wanting to kill Negan no matter what, with Rick opposing them. Sounds like Daryl has adopted Rick's philosophies, but the Daryl of season 9 would've done the same damn thing. Oh wait, he did, in season 8. Just like Morgan said, "everything gets a return" 🤣🤣🤣

This episode was GREAT, i loved it! Yes i was seriously grossed out from Negan and Alpha , but i thought it was funny lol. Holy crap Carol has become one of my least fav. character this season...THEY DIDNT HURT/KILL JERRY!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope they dont kill off Connie, i mean she is the reason i started learning ASL , i love Daryle and Connie's relationship it just needs to get explored more... Love the reaction , always do!!!!

It's not partially your fault, about the episode being too dark. I felt it was too dark too. Think these shows make it dark on purpose so they can avoid paying too much on special effects. Good reactions, otherwise.

We watched this, as well as GoT, in the dark and didn't have too many issues with the darkness of the episodes, but I'm sure if we were watching during the day, or with bright lights on, it would've been different.
I thought this was the best episode of the season so far. All the cave scenes were intense. I thought Jerry was a goner! I'm so glad he survived. And then there was Negan and Alpha. Just gag.
I agree with you guys on how you're feeling about Carol right now. Yes, she lost her son, but so did Ezekiel, and he's not out there trying to get revenge on Alpha and putting everyone in danger. He has more reason to, honestly, since he's obviously going to die from cancer, so why not risk his life to take out Alpha? I would much rather that Carol pull it together and mourn with Ezekiel than act the way she's been acting. It's not going to bring Henry back if she gets revenge.
