I just made this! It was my first crochet project after just practising the stitches and it turned out glorious! Thanks for the tutorial, it was so easy to follow ❤
This is the best tutorial for a beginner like me! A lot of other videos didn’t go into enough step by step details like how to old and turn the hook etc. thank you!
you explain it so clearly that without knowing English (I write through a translator) I was able to crochet a wonderful scarf. Thank you so much, you are the best ♡♡♡
i just finished my first scarf and will be gifting it for my partner on his upcoming birthday. thank you so much! i started from scratch with just your video and now i want to make another one soon ♡
Love the way you explain this. If all your tutorials making an intimatiding crotchet stitch (to a beginner) look so easy then you are my new go to crotchet tutorial youtuber!
emma i just wanted to say i love you girl😭 i have tried so many times to make a scarf but failed miserably and this helped alot! Hope you had a good day you totally deserve it
Hi Emma....I tried my first scarf as per your instructions...the output is marvelous...going to do more now.... thanks again.... please post more scarf tutorials 👍🙏
Could this tutorial work for different yarn and hook sizes?? Would love to follow this tutorial using yarn and hooks I already have! Btw love your videos
Hello Emma! I’m from the Philippines and I really love the color combination of the scarf! And guess what , I am making one today :) Can i ask if what kind of crochet hook are you using? Is that gel hook? orrr?
How to find the exact thickness of yarn for the scarf in other countries? Is there something I should look for? I am a total beginner and need to buy the yarn in Canada
This yarn is super chunky so any yarn with that label should work (also known sometimes as super bulky), they would be about a yarn weight of 6, so you could look for that label as well, or any yarn that uses a 10mm size hook xx
Silly question but i’m such a newbie. How many crochet should be in each row? if you chain 22 and then crochet into the third chain? I am so horrible at the start of every project and each time I restart it I end up with a different number of crochet somehow. I’m constantly messing up on the chain but once I get to my second row I’m good. It helps to know so I can count. I’m guessing it would be 19 because 22-3 but for some reason I’m not confident in that so wanted some advice haha again so new to this I apologize for the dumb question
Unless a pattern says there’s an increase or decrease, there should be the same about of crochets on each row which seems to be 20 in this pattern because of skipping the first 2 chains and going into the 3rd chain. It helps sometimes to place a stitch marker on your first crochet so you can count backwards if you get lost
@@melontiniiThank you!!! I figured that out shortly after :) Just finished my scarf and going to make another! I appreciate your help I might have to try that!
My "V" stitch that I go under seems to be behind rather than stacked on top of eachother of that makes sense. I feel like I'm doing it wrong but I can't make sense of it.
I've tried going in a circle and it always ends up twisted 😅 So now I just chrocet 150 chains by going back and forth if that makes sense. Makes it easier.
How do you people make them straight 😂 because mine ain't straight 😂not that I'm missing stiches I think it's because sometimes I'm making them loose and other times loose somebody help😂
future reference: leave beginner crochet tips in another video!! as someone who is trying to learn to make a scarf and not to learn to crochet it was extremely excruciating having you do everything in super slow motion!!
@@kthx_bai there's a difference between beginner level and beginners. nobody is going to watch this video as a tutorial to learn how to crochet. 9/10 they already have BEGINNER LEVEL knowledge of crochet. you're sitting here showing the stitches in slow mo, when you should learn basics in crochet before you try to make a scarf. just make a video for beginners teaching every stitch in super slow mo since you want to so bad. you'll probably get views.

When tying the two balls of yarn together, should you cut the excess strings at the end of the knots?

Sorry but you don’t show after you’ve knotted the new yarn to the original one? Do you cut it / not cut it, and how do you continue the crochet
Exactly I am confused there
What yarb did you use whichhhh one canbi buy from shein
Does the type of yarn matter? I have thinner yarn

Hi Emma, do you have a corner to corner tutorial please? X
THANK U SO MUCH... ❤❤❤❤
was 100g yarn enough? planning to do this for my mom 🥲
She used 400g in the video (4x 100g balls of yarn)
IT WAS PERFECT! So easy to understand thank u so much
chain _
half double crochet every stitch
chain 2
repeat

For some reason i kept making it thicker and then make it thinner I didn’t know how to make it the same width
