Li never fought another super powered being before spider-man and it shows when he briefly powers down due tiring quickly, he doesn't know how to pace himself in a fight unlike Spider-Man who has 8 years of Experience
Honestly, in some ways, I feel like that makes Li MORE terrifying. Even with only a modicum of combat experience, he still gave an absolutely grueling fight to an experienced Spider-Man, which shows just how strong his base abilities are. If Li had had more time to develop the combat side of his powers, he might have been more than a match for Spider-Man, if not unbeatable by the web-slinger...
yeah it encapsulates that even with all his rage power and even his personal army Mr Negative couldn't overcome one single awesome force... The Amazing Spider-Man
Fun Fact: Morgan Michaels is one of the names of Morbius the Living Vampire and Michael's bio in the game alludes to him being Morbius. So Spider-Man's life was saved by someone he's probably going to beat up and arrest in a sequel to this game
The best part about this mission was walking thru the darkness just before entering the final fight with Li. I think a lot of people missed out on the experience of this mission by just running through the part at 2:40 to 4:15.. You have to absorb everything in that part.. just take some minutes to look around the space, listen to the score, slowly walk through... just soak it all in. People forget this is what video games are all about.. experience.. like watching a film but moving on your own pace and having the freedom to take your time and absorb everything in the moment. This mission made the whole game in my opinion.. It's even better than the final with Doc Ock.
Fun fact: in the comic version of spiderman ps4 when Peter went to fight and make the ock suit aunt may knew Peter was spiderman and the first one she told was mj... I'm not kidding go look it up

I see some real potential for the black suit spiderman and Venom here Like what if during the first fight Li actually infects Spidey with his powers but Peter doesn't really feel different but his suit black with a blue glow to it and he's stronger, faster, but the more he fights, like say fights the demons and also with his issues with MJ he keeps getting more and more frustrated and his negativity feeds his black suit up to the point he he's so mad at a crook he ends up producing big demon teeth like from the masks and he would get a long tongue cuz its been enhanced like the rest of his body, but Peter tries to fight off the monster suit, he separates from it and the suit begins to die cuz it needed Peter to work but it latches onto the crook and becomes Venom
This is the easiest boss fight in the game. Literally just play it cagey and keep dodging until he recharges. You're not preoccupied with a second supervillain this time around

Doctor ock is simple just keep dodging and then when he throws stuff from the ceiling do the super jump and throw the stuff back 2 times then it’s simple taskmaster is so simple throw stuff at him use the last stand suit or the secret war suit power to make it easy for noobs

Kingpin is hard because you have none of the upgrades.
