That playing at the beginning of the video demonstrates why you're my favorite guitar player, Tom. You can do it all and do it with so much feel and fluidity. Actually, I take that back. You're my favorite, because you're so generous with your knowledge and experience. We don't deserve you, but, and I think I can speak for most of us when I say this, we appreciate you tremendously. We see so much of you, I feel like you're a good friend I look forward to visiting with every day.

I appreciate that you mean more than you say and teach more than you explain. τhank you for your hospitality. Greetings from Greece to the heartgang of homeskoolers. Billy
Riding a horse for the first time for 90 minuets will leave lasting physical memories you will not soon forget. That horseback ride will reveal muscles you didn't know you had.
Thanks, Unc! I was dancing to the opening g jam while cleaning up the kitchen. Good stuff! I'm excited to see what Collision Devices sends your way. Love the BHS, Nocturnal, and The Ranch. Looking to pick up the TARs and Crushturnal soon... they make good stuff.
Always a pleasure to watch and listen to you, both playing and talking. At 70 ,I know the old school harder way to get things done, I did firewood for a couple years back in late 70's split by hand, hand load, deliver, start all over again. I drank a lot and smoked much weed just to cope.......lol. Fast forward to 2000 and I had machines that did it all, cut split and load 2 cords an hour. I stiil cut all the trees with a chainsaw, grapple skidder to drag them out of the woods. At that point it was mostly logs for lumber, that's where the real $$ was . I stopped all that in 2007. Dug in on guitar in 2012.
You guys ever listen to that Jeff Beck album Crazy Legs? The rockabilly one…I always liked that album. The opening bit here made me think of it. Cool stuff.
The car thing is so true I began as a lineman service guy for ATT. Climb and that sort of thing. In '73 the older trucks did not have heat at all. I did not get an A/C until 2000. But shit that is how it was. I had a job and able to feed the Fam. Love what you do.
Hey Tom!! Thanks for all that you're doing for us Homeskoolers. As someone who bounced his head off the pavement a few years ago, I'm glad that fuckin' horse didn't bounce you on your head. I wouldn't wish a head injury on anyone. I made my first trip to Nashville last week. Saw Guthrie, Tim and Jordan Monday (amazing), Experience Hendrix Tuesday at The Ryman with among others...Eric Johnson and Kenny Wayne Sheppard (amazing), trips to Gruhn's and Glaser's (baby Nick set me up with a Savvy and the In Stereo Collector's Edition-amazing!!). Thanks for introducing me and the class to all these great people places and things in your musical world!! It's great that you could boost Marshall's cred by 10 points. The new Jack White amp is looking amazing, it has features I have wanted for 30 years from Fender, but the MSRP is honestly outlandish. Someone should build a competing model at 1/3 the price, or 1/2 easily.

Way easier to me than the Eventide H90 which I sold because I was always frustrated with it. Fractal effects are amazing. Glad they put that product out for people who don’t care about the amp modelling. Strymon and Eventide quality easily.
I get where you were coming from with the wise words you gave to your son about how those old muscle car's are a reminder to yourself of the difficult times back in the day. However, 1 of the things that wasn't difficult at all yet really quite easy on muscle car's were those old small/big block Chevy motors. As long as you were mechanically inclined & knew how to turn a wrench & had a standard socket set & wrenches... you were good to go!
