I cut my own hair from front, top and sides by learning from your videos, i only goes to barber to cut hair from back side. i have to cut my own hair because barbers in my city just cut hair short and don't know how to make layers, i wish i live near you and you are my stylist.
I want to start by thanking you for all the time and effort that you put into your videos, also how well you explain every step. I do cut my own hair and I think I do a very good job. At first it was kind of difficult but the more you do it the easier it gets. Thank you again and may you and your loved ones have a blessing and warm New Years.
12:00 I gave myself clippered cuts (fade with pompadour) for 11 years, but now I've gone to a salon to get a medium length layered cut. Your videos are really great for understanding how to ask my stylist for the style that I want.
I cut my own hair since I'm not able to afford to go to a stylist yet (I just got a job tho so I'll be able to soon) and I used this tutorial and it came out the same ❤️
@@jackiegalvan4340 it looked okay, for my first time! i played and paused the video while cutting lol. he wanted to leave his hair a little longer than that so it wasn't much work.
That's why I'm here too. Cutting my boomer dad's hair, so fades are a nope. 😂 He grew up in the 50's. Looking for something longer and polished that he can comb over, and that is age appropriate.
I can cut my own hair because you taught me how. What I do is I take an easel and put a mirror on it, and then I can move and adjust it to see what I'm doing. My hair looks very similar to this hair cut actually and everyone tells me my hair is amazing so thank you.

Here during lockdown because my son looks like teen wolf and I can’t take it any longer. Thanks for sharing this tutorial, I love this hair style on guys. 🙏♥️
Awesome!!! I'm trying to learn how to cut my pre-teen grandsons hair. This video is EXCELLENT!!! Much needed during pandemic. Thank you, thank, thank you!!
I like to cut my own hair, particularly because it's hard for me to show my idea to hairstylists also it's pretty fun. Your videos helped out so much! It definitely is difficult cutting your own hair i had my mom help with the back 😂
I've cut my own hair since I was 15. I'm 20 now and I haven't watched or read anything about hair till a few months ago. My hair is generally long (80s speed metal style) and I've gotten compliments on how it flowed when I was 17. I cut it short at 19, but it's long again and I'm studying hairstyling to make sure I don't damage myself
Salon Guy, Excellent tutorial. I am going to try on my husband right now. One thing about this haircut that you should point out is that this cut leave the hair at the crown long so that someone like my husband does not get a cowlick like he always does from the salon o matter how many times he asks them to be weary of his. 🙂
You are awesome! I am using your technique for layering my extensions and lace front wigs before I put them on. The stylist I go to know nothing about layering. THANK YOU!
Great tutorial! I haven’t had a haircut since last August because of lockdown and I finally managed to convince my mum to cut mine herself... It came out perfect! :)
i've been cutting my own hair for three years, watched your videos a lot in the beginning, then just did the same thing the whole time and now i'm back because i want another cut lol

First video I watched to try to layer the back of my husband’s hair. Very educational. I think I might be able to this. I am gonna watch more of your videos to help me learn some of it. Hell if I mess up we can shave his hair and start over when it grows out.
I liked your response on a previous video"its like when you build a house you start from the bottom up and not the other way around" referring to haircutting, is it possible to cut hair using a trimmer only? I'm not a complete beginner but have some knowledge and am picking up more by watching your videos and please upload more on layering and short over the ear box hair cuts for men.
First of all, thank you for such an informative video. You definitely have the talent of not only cutting hair perfectly, you are a gifted teacher as well. I am an elderly man who has cut many throughout the years, wife, kids and my own using the exact technique as you have just demonstrated. Long or short styles, always pulling the hair away from the head for layering (except for the neck), cutting the top all the same length so a part can be made anywhere or none at all. Will be watching your other videos when they are available.
Great job...very informative. Definitely a lot of techniques shared and learning for viewers. I've been cutting my own and my son's for many, many years now and I see quite a few tips that will make the process much easier, less time consuming and get me through those areas that just never seem to go right. Being left handed always throws me when trying to match each side...or maybe I'm a bit dyslexic. Definitely need to review and practice. But hey...I definitely can't compete with your level of experience and expertise. So I will take what I've learned...review for subtleties I missed and keep working at it. Thank you!
This is a great tutorial, it was like watching an artist at work. I'll be showing this to my hair stylist to ensure I get something closer to what I'm going for.
