Maggie Beth was 14 during this concert, and as she got older, her voice had matured and is beautiful. A suggestion for Maggie Beth would be He's Still My Child. Some of the New York firemen are sitting in the audience, and it is done at Carnegie Hall. It's a younger David, but you'll hear a few of his higher notes (David will be 55 this year). David has been a member of the Gaither Vocal Band and is in my opinion the best high tenor in southern gospel music and has recently been more contemporary when he went solo. Glad to see her with him today! He is especially known for extremely high belts in some part of the song he is singing. This was Maggie Beth's very first public performance. She was so nervous. She is well into her 20's and sings a song David wrote called "He's Still My Child" and it is so beautiful. The other song is "Water" that she sings with David when she's 17 and it's just shocking how talented. Also really good with him and both of his daughter's harmonizing is For Those Tears I Died". Callie has a completely different voice and beautiful as well. The girls travel as his backup singers now.

To think that his daughter was only 14 when she accompanied David, this is phenomenal. At age 17, David and Maggie do another exquisite duo in "Water", a rendition of the Gospel story of John chapter 4 when Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well in Samaria.
Both very talented without doubt. I think this sort of music, for me at least, has to be seen live. I remember the first time I went to a musical I wasn't really expecting too much and ended up being blown away by the quality of the singing and the performance. However as much as I enjoyed it, at the same time it's not something I'd really listen to outside of that situation.
