nc is a hot bed now for software companies. these companies bring people with degrees and statistics show that most educated people tend to lean democratic.
Friendly Neighborhood Software Engineer here! You’d be surprised how many folks in my field hold very conservative views. Often times in our companies though, those views are silenced by fear of retaliation or disciplinary action. There’s definitely a couple HUGE software companies I’ve worked for in NC/SC that I could call out for pretty heavy handed political indoctrination.

I'm voting for Stein in the general election, but I voted for Graham just so that I could vote against Robinson. I voted for Haley just so that I could vote against Trump. But mark my word, Biden will get my vote in the General Election. I intend to vote 100% Democrat. I thought long and hard before I voted in the Republican primaries. I'm not proud of my decision. I'm scared, anxious and I came home and cried and slept after voting. I threw up at the polls while voting because of my anxiety. I honestly hope I made the best decision. But given the information I have, the lack of power I have, and the hopeless and despair that's been wracking my brain for the past decade, I made the most calculated and informed decision I could this election to give myself the most power I could with my vote for now and in the general election.

Meanwhile, the Democrats, fresh after screwing themselves, and the country, by force feeding Hillary Clinton the nomination, even though the base largely wanted Bernie Sanders, and subsequently loosing granting Trump his first term as president. Which went disastrously and narrowly resulted in Biden becoming president so that the Trump disaster wouldn't continue (allegedly by some). Those same Democrats, or at least the party, is doing the same ish again even though the base does not really want Biden because they know it's Biden or Trump and no "sane rational" person would vote for Trump. The Democrats had YEARS to get a candidate ready because the sentiment for Biden even getting elected was to just keep the country going until we/you(the Democratic party) figured out who the successor to Biden would be. Spoiler: It wasn't supposed to be Joe Biden.
So I'm going to do the sane thing. But hold up, according to the internet the definition of crazy is doing the same thing and expecting different results. So me voting for Biden would be crazy, not sane and rational. So I won't be voting for either. You want me to fall in line, but I choose chaos. It's the only sane choice. I live in NC. Mark Robinson has the same problem as DeSantis plus one. The more people get to know him the less they like him. He could hide behind the [R] on the ballot for the lesser position of Lieutenant Governor but that won't work for Governor. People will want to know who wants the top job. His plus one problem is that he's black and running as a Republican. Those two things don't go together and will almost certainly lose him votes in the general election. I don't see him winning which is good for North Carolina. Josh Stein will make an excellent governor and prevent the Republicans from fully taking over the state.
