I absolutely do not care about stupid skins in this game, all I wanted is blackout skins that make me less visible, thanks to this game's horrendous target highlighting system, and their woke character design. No cosmetics can ever get people interested if the character itself is omega ugly, which covers almost all characters in this game, except maybe Wattson and Crypto.
Before we got to open like some free packs of the heirloom sets to get some of the cosmetics now they just put a huge paywall behind it and say okay pay up

@Just_Stop I have the same view as this person because it's like a sports team which you're passionate about. Your mood will be affected if they win or lose. You'll either be sad or happy. Same thing applies with apex, played since preseason and never left till season 21 because I got banned for no reason and I was unbanned a whole season later. I was tier 109 before I got banned and I felt so much better when I quit the game because I didn't have to be in a bad mood constantly because of something that I like to play for fun is being used to just get as much money as possible out of me without caring about any of its player base. Don't know why it took me so long to realise that they weren't going to change.
Even though its common sense to focus on popular legends, these are fame developers they are absolutely clueless aboit anything else. They are some of the most unpractical people in existence
Climbing. One of the most common ways I know it's Mirage is when they climb. If the decoys interacted with whatever they ran into like jumping over stuff, climbing up walls, taking ziplines, etc. rather than mimicking your movements they would be much stronger (and they could still mirror your directional movement, so your decoys don't just all run away when you ult, only needing to have run/jump/climb/interact for things directly in front of them which they happen to encounter)
I mean that's a solid statement on the surface, but in reality people are upset because these are the ONLY things they push out anymore. Have you ever played the early seasons?(Season 0-7), where they actually focused on proving new quality content. Even more than a quarter of the endless cosmetics that are pushed out anymore seem to just be effortless recolors in my opinion. Your point definitely still stands mind you.... Just on one shaky leg that is🤷

Legend heirlooms are extremely overpriced, then this heirlooms without soul even more. I got my first heirloom and after playing with it i got really disappointed, they don't deserve that much of good treatment, amd i can craft another one id i want to.
It APPEARS to me that the Alter Final Fantasy skin is inspired by Jenova, which is the other worldly force that kinda created sephiroth. If it is, it's fitting because Jenova is trying to destroy the world across all it's multi-verse variants

What cracks me up is EA/Respawn seeing most players and pros going over to other games such as marvels rivals and doing nothing to keep those players engaged. Overwatch noticed so in order to keep players they made it to where you could get up to 7 free skins by PLAYING and not PAYING for skins. They’re not going to work any overtime, they’ve said it already there’s no upgrades to the game itself and anything they do is always bugged the hell out. They don’t wanna save the game and all I see is them milking the hell out of it until the next battlefield comes out.
I am sitting with my head hanging low, because I know as a Mirage main, whatever buff they'll add is just gonna get countered by the next seasons new stuff. Like how Vantage was added after Mirage was "Buffed" and she could see his decoys. There's more examples, but you get it.
I think the problem is EA never put any of the money they earned back into the game, they pocketed the cash and hoped we’d just settle for more of the same, maybe season 24 they finally invest again
Right after their statement about expanding beyond BR, we had a couple of the worst seasons (player-count wise) to date. I hope you're right and they delayed it because they decided (as part of what they forecasted to investors) that they wanted to do more with whatever they had planned (I really hope we see a big evolution/expansion of Mixtape, for example, offering more diversity and choice in gameplay as well as things like badges, trackers, and mastery challenges)
Alter "Prestige skin" is not the Prestige skin. It's the skin from the trailer, where Alter destroys D.O.C, it's not Prestige because if you think about other skins from trailers - Voidwalker, Lifeline & Octanes' heist skin, Young Bloodhound, etc.
The idea of spending money on Apex right now while it's on such an insane decline is wild to me. Ill always have a soft spot for Apex. I spent a lot on early Apex. But right now it just feels like I'd be throwing money away for Apex to potentially close down any time

You're kinda right, EA should just make Apex 2and turn off the servers for Apex 1. Rework everything including the engine. Use Unreal Engine 5, get off of EAC, make the game more like Fortnite, and bring back solos as a permanent mode.

Hopefully they do step up their game in the future, because it feels like the game has gone too far downwards for many players, and I estimate that the game only has a few solid months left to bring people back before the game potentially dies off for good. Imagine a buff to Loba would be the ability to teleport a downed teammate with her but have the distance of a normal bracelet throw without the perk. Feel like conduit and mirage don’t have bail out abilities like the others, conduit has the speed buff but it’s situational and mirage clones are rarely shot more than once since there’s no repercussions for shooting a clone other than you location and even Bangalore has it better with a speed buff and the location
that speed buff is the best thing they did to her kit being able to use it when no team mates is the best thing they did, i outran an octane with stem lol, beside that b hop with that speed is really helpful, they should keep her speed when there isnt a team mate not only after they died to craft, that way solo rank will be easier to escape when you didnt saw a full squad

I don't even know why I am watching the video after quitting Apex at the start of December. Maybe it is like poking a body with a stick to see if it does something (or anything substantial has changed, fat chance of that though haha).

I don't even know why I am watching the video after quitting Apex at the start of December. Maybe it is like poking a body with a stick to see if it does something (or anything substantial has changed, fat chance of that though haha).
At this point this game will shut down in about a year
