the bike looks good. i prefer the early V rods over the later ones. im not a fan of the big tires and the rad on the newer modes look horrible to me. good vid
All my hd are discontinued, V-Rod w/180 is one of them, for looks I don't think there is an upgrade.....it's beautiful....it is stock except it has the Harley backrest and luggage rack, functionally it will hold the passenger from flying off the back, and the luggage rack can easily hold a bag big enough to carry a pop and gloves Number 1 pipes.....no Number 2 suspension......no, I've only been riding the VR about a year, and I ride the curves, I just haven't found a need for "upgrade" Number 3 headlight......ok, but I'd go a step farther and make it 3 headlights By Number 4 windshield.......I agree it's not necessary, and I'll go a step farther and say it looks bad Number 5 Michelens.......not no but hell no. Brother Michelens on his bike, if the road was slightly wet and he gave it gas the tire would spin out.....plus maybe you should learn about the history of michelen then think about if you want to support such a company.....my brother now uses Metzler's...I have metz and Dunlop on my bikes Having had mine over a year now I am ready to start with "upgrades" 1 for me is headlights 2 mirrors, the mirrors are adequate but I rode a Fatboy with turn signal mirrors on Amazon about $200, they blink on both sides so you don't have to look down to see if it's blinking, plus they are extra LED pointing forward......you can never have too much light pointing forward 3 fender extender to keep all the road grim from flinging onto the radiator......I haven't tried yet but brake cleaner might get it off completely, nothing else will I have to watch about the headlights, I don't want to ruin the stock wind deflector that is amazingly adequate and looks really good I might, but doubt it, change highway pegs to mini floor boards or more likely kuryukin pegs with heel rests.......but my riding of this bike is just to go out hit the curves for an hour or 2 My wide glide, bike I've had longer than any bike ever, will be first to get those mirrors BTW you really need to get them rpms up
