- Hey everyone, welcome back to #RetrotoMetroReactions! Today, I dove into Kendrick Lamar's track "FEEL." from his critically acclaimed album "DAMN." for the very first time, and wow, it was an experience. This song hits different. It's hauntingly beautiful and in a way that's incredibly relatable. Kendrick doesn't just rap; he pours out his soul, weaving through the complexities of his emotions and the weight of the world on his shoulders. It's like he's speaking directly to the listener, sharing a piece of his world that's both intimate and expansive. There's no fluff here, just raw and real vibes that make you stop and think. Very nice indeed. Let's talk about what makes this track stand out and why it resonates so deeply.

“Sing About Me (dying of thirst)” is probably Kendrick’s greatest story he has ever written. Growing up with Kendrick and knowing who these stories are about are special. Thank you for listening. We love you. 🤍
Definitely agree Also “How much a dollar cost” is up their too 👌🏽🔥
He has so many great songs… just to name a few:
Money trees
Fear
Mother I sober
For free
I
U
How much a dollar costs ?
And the list goes on…
“How much a dollar cost “ is great story telling from Kendrick Lamar as well on the “To pimp a butterfly “ album
Never been much of a hip-hop head and English is only my second language. So Kendrick Lamar would have gone completely past me, if it wasn´t for Ren (he sometimes references KL in his tracks) And even though it´s gonna take me a while getting through lyrics and all, I´m already absolutely happy now with my Kendrick playlist. This man is incredibly talented and skilled when it comes to blending genres and sounds, and- like Ren- he can indeed rap and sing. There is some kind of magic about a lot of his tracks I´ve come across so far, that just captivates me. Rich Spirit, Money Trees, Swimming Pools and others might be household names to many, I´m glad I´ve discovered them...at a time I needed them. lol
Do U by Kendrick Lamar. It’s his most personal and thought provoking song he’s made in my opinion
I know what you mean. No matter how what, you are here and it's a testament to your resiliency and mental fortitude. Great reaction. Kendrick Lamar-Sing about me is a deep song.
Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst is arguably the greatest rap song of the last 20 years. its my favorite anyway.
@@patmody That song is incredible
U are the best thank u sooo much ..love u...kendrick has very deep and at times long songs but u primise they are worth the listen. Sing about me (I’m dying of a thirst) is a must, Kendrick is an incredible and important. Only rapper to win a Pulitzer Prize.
Mother I sober, Keisha’s song, XXX, Money Trees, How much a dollar cost also great by him.
I would love you to do Mother, I Sober by him
Kendrick Lamar’s “FEAR,” “Dying of this,” “Mother I Sober,” “Auntie’s Diaries,” and “U” are some of the more emotionally captivating cuts from his discography similar to “Feel.”
Dang! Everyone keeps requesting these heavy songs. She’s gonna end up thinking hip-hop is all doom and gloom lol someone please suggest something fun every once in a while.
Ur right maybe you should to another legend Mac miller . "What's the he use" that's a bit more upbeat
I think its great..she'll get there, but starting at the root is important.
I see someone recommending “sing about me (dying of thirst) which I absolutely agree with being one of his best stories BUT I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend that you listen to “Kesha’s song” before “sing about me” because it will give you the context you need for the second verse.
Of course you still can understand without it but you’ll feel the impact even more. Plus “Kesha’s song” is an amazing gut wrenching story as well.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
youre jumping into Kendrick? Oh youre in for a ride.... let me suggest.. "you dont understand"
Awesome reaction. You should watch "Poetic Justice" and "B***h, don't kill my vibe" by Kendrick Lamar. Don't let the second song name deter you because it's an awesome thoughtful song. Both songs are from his 1st mainstream album and are easier to listen to for a new listener.
Please resct to more Kendrick
No disrespect to all the hip hop greats. But Kendrick is Bob Dylan to hip hop
pleasee react to LOVE by Kendrick Lamar
