Hey Wade could you load some 20 gauge #0 & #1 buckshot and tried them on the pattern board to see how they shoot & pattern ! Stay safe and God bless!!!
Eastwood powders rock! I PC a lot of handgun bullets. I started out using Harbor Freight, and almost quit before I started. A TH-camr advised I try Eastwood, and boy was there a difference. All I use now.
Love ya stuff Wade. I got me 7 molds and started casting for the first time. I'm nearly through 100 lb of processed WW so far. 100 lb more and I'll start powder coating in a few days. The I'll start reloading. You've tought me a lot🙏 I'd love to post a few pics but can't do that here. From Australia, stay safe and thanks for your videos
Also try clear hauls&shells and glow in the dark powder paint for shot for the guys who can hunt at night and give them a cheaper alternative to tracer rounds
I'm from Ontario Canada and we do man drives for deer and we use slugs mostly because the deer have to much fat on them for buck shot do you think a buck kicker would make a difference with that I'm shooting a stoeger m3500 with fed 3inc 00 buck
Mr. Wase Rush. My question today is, have you every used Winchester 209 muzzle loading primers to test with? In these times of use what you can find . That's what I have the most of besides Remington and Federal primers. Will the Winchester work are they hotter? Will powder loads need to be adjusted? Thank you for your videos.
I've never used the Muzzleloader specific primers before... but, according to the manufacturers and the forums, the MZ primers are very light as compared to standard 209 primers. The only thing that you could do is test em and see how they work! 1 thing is for sure; you wont' have to worry bout over-pressures in your max powder loads!! I would love to get my hands on a few just to test for my own knowledge! But, I haven't been looking for any! Wade
Wade, Have you thought about making wads that are able to break down after being fired rather than plastic wads. Perhaps out of old newspaper or something biodegradable. You would have to be careful not to start a forest fire though!!
The same affect to nickel plate buckshot. Also cuts down on leading of your barrel. Competition pistol shooters have been doing it for a while now with great results.

What's the benefits of powder coating your shot? I'm about to get into reloading buckshot & been watching your videos to learn
The smaller shot has a greater surface area to volume ratio so will heat more quickly and therefore melt more easily.
Could you do a video on making your main buckshot for deer season!! Loving the videos!!
Look in the video archive. He has a great number of videos on just that. Great content.
Man those came out real puurdy. Thanks for a great video as always.

Who has the Turkey call sounds good
LOL! That's the best callers in SC... those are Rachel's Turkey hens! She has 3 of em.
Is there a big benefit in using powder coat over just hardening your alloy?
It makes a huge difference if you don't have a way to tumble/polish your pellets! It's an extra layer of protection for your barrel and the choke.

What is the big secret of getting that powder coat to stick?
so what is the benefit of powder coating these for a shotgun?? i have made 9mm and .40 and and powder coated them as bullet lube purpose.
same purpose!
@@BubbaRountreeOutdoors thanks
Wade why are u power coating your shot for? Sorry but I just dont get it.
It helps keep the barrel from leading. Normally buckshot is coated with Alox and graphite but powder coating does the same thing only better
You would be surprised how it affects the performance.
Man guys I know what I'm doin during this lockdown...praying to the good Lord and powdered coating shot
Mr Wade my name is Samuel Blocker. I was wondering do you sell you buckshot in bulk. Or do you sell them?
What are the advantages of powder coating buck shot and does it affect the meat when you shoot a deer

wade does powder coating help with performance
Kendall Davis helps your barrel no go to hell as quickly.
Have you ever loaded 12 gauge brass shells ?
Never have John!
