We are " self quarantined" here in Northeast Missouri and been getting lots of stuff done in our home. Our church has fixed up an online service including weekly bulletin. Your channel is something I look so forward too especially during this china virus. It snowed here yesterday so seeing you out in yard teaching me is great. Keep up the great videos and were praying for your families safety.
Brother Wade, it is good to see you work your skills. This mess is no joke. We too have been laying low and I have been reloading my 12 gauge for fun. After watching one of your casting videos and noting how you cut/ snip the sprue, I decided to open up the sprue channels on my Lee OO gang mold. This has really increased my production. Despite following directions, I couldn’t get my Lee to produce pellets like others can. Stay well.
Always thoroughly dry my offcut sprues on a towel and a hairdryer and could always use a medieval shield/metal bin lid/piece of wood (get creative), when dropping them back in if any doubt
Rick really did make some Awesome molds! I hope he is able to get up and running again. I sure could use some large caliber round ball molds. Thanks for the video...
Thanks again Bubba. 2 great videos to ease the mind in these troubled times, 2 cases confirmed at my work. Today might be the day I cast my first bullets and buckshot. It might also be the first time I powder coat. Stay safe from Australia
I have the same 2 Lee pots. Got to ask. How hot do you heat your lead too? 700, 750? What dial setting do you use? Just got a high heat temp probe for my multimeter. Your videos are a Gold mine of info. Many many thanks. Got into. Reloading 12 gauge due to prices. Been reloading pistol and rifle for over 30 years. Keep safe and healthy, God bless all there.
Yesser Vince... there is a lot of spru for sure. but it doesn't bother me. I use the Lee mold a bunch as well. I like it a lot too! I wish that Lee would make more buckshot sizes...
innnjoy your reloading vidios. when i cast i use two double cavity lyman pistol bullet molds at the same time rotating from one to the other and ever have to stop because of overheating. you might try something like that.
So with everything bought out, what load could you make with Winchester 209 primers, long-shot or greendot powder, wwa 12 red wads and Winchester 2 3/4 ??? Got plenty of 00 and #4
@@BubbaRountreeOutdoors Thanks, I garbed what was left, figured what I loaded for duck 1 5/8 oz would be a starting point. Feel like its time to dust off the old mec 650 progressive, will give your load a try. Stay safe, and thanks again.

That's a very effective way to spend a slow day. Getting work done. They disappear fast when you start loading hulls.

Good video BRO !
Stay safe .
That mold right there's probably one I help make
Hey there brother! hope ya'll are well...
Those pellets.leave alot of sprue. I've only used the lee 00buck mold. You must go through Alot of lead before rejecting the excess

Hi Wade. Can I use the Winchester red hull AA /hs 8 pt for the self defense buckshot? Thx
Sure you can!
Hi Bubba. Want to get into this. Could I get your recommendation of what size mold from Marty for a self defense buckshot load?
I would go with a .31 cal #0 Buck! That size will stack in any wad available... Wade
@@BubbaRountreeOutdoors Thanks Wade. By the way, my brother lives in Spartanburg!! Later
Where do you get your lead ingots
I buy used wheel weights from a local tire dealer.

Is everything bought out already?
He has some buckshot videos that would work for you I think. I learned from them
yesser! 30 grns of Longshot, AA12 red wad or the CB1138-12 Claybuster, 10 pellets of #00 stacked by 2's or you can use 24 pellets of #4 buck.
@@vdog4799 , hard to find even powder at the local gun shops. Forget finding shells, barer shelves then the Wallyworld TP isle at least in CT.

Had to replenish my stock .I have an idea with the lee 54cal 380gr bullet for 20ga
i was putting some .575 cal together last week for the 20 ga. works like a dream!
@@BubbaRountreeOutdoors I just never tried them with rifling.
God bless the BRO family .
I just thought of my neighbors down south . I just drop the .54 cal in a target load and recrimp it . No need for powder
I'm still waiting on you to tinker with the 44 caliber ball 3" loads again.
been working on it a lot! hopefully we will have something put together soon JR!
@@BubbaRountreeOutdoors I understand that bud. God bless ya'll for doing what ya'll do.
