Trail Camera | Opossum Carrying Nesting Material

Mama Opossum needs to gather quite a lot of dry, soft, nesting materials for her young joeys. So, how does she do this? When she comes upon suitable material like dry grass, she gathers it into a manageable pile, and passes it under her belly towards her hind feet. She then coils her long, prehensile tail around the bundle and carries it away to her nesting site.
