  • I'm building a box that looks like an engram from Destiny. I am at the most challenging part of this build: attaching the outer plastic shell. This turned out to be more difficult than I expected, so I'll show you the techniques that I found that worked the best.
By the end of the video, I've finished the engram, and I am really pleased with how it looks! This project was built completely from scratch from my own design, and it was a lot of fun.
If you want to build your own engram box, you can download PDF instructions and patterns here:

And here are instructions and patterns for a smaller, simpler version (this one doesn't open like a box):

Can you do a simpler smaller version for a wedding centerpiece? 🙏🏼

I can share the pattern for the one I made in the videos, and I can also make a pattern for one that doesn't open like a box. Check back soon and I will update the description of the video to add links to the patterns.

I've been meaning to develop a smaller version that I can build as gifts for friends, so your request motivated me to get it done. I've added links in the description for PDF instructions and patterns for the version I built in the videos, and also the newly-developed smaller and simpler version (it doesn't open like a box). Feel free to download the PDFs to build your own!
I haven't built one of the smaller ones out of plastic yet, so I can't say the design is perfect. I did a quick build test out of paper and that worked OK.
