Well if u saw the whole interview, u can argue he didnt master anything, hes just naturally talented, boateng also said he never really hit the gym, he was on his phone whilst the manager was speaking, and actually set a bad example for the youth players, cos only messi is fortunate enough to get away with it

@@dxfault576you don’t have a 15+ year career at the top level without getting injured if you don’t train hard. It’s such a myth, look at examples of players who actually didn’t train hard, Hazard and Bale (at Spurs, not sure about Real) come to my mind, Hazard has just retired at 32 and barely played the last few years, look at how Bales career ended.

What makes Messi’s shot so effective are two things
    1. Low backlift of the shooting leg making it harder to discern if he’s actually shooting or going to take another step
    2. The flexibility of his ankle. His ankle can hyper rotate meaning he doesn’t have to move his hips to aim towards the near or far corner meaning that keepers can’t predict which side he’s going for until the ball has left the boot leaving less time for them to react

N 34 years is barely an excuse either. I would say consistency is the criteria here if ur comparing. U must be that guy who can score in any situation. I'm no ronaldo fan but if u would have to compare both of them, ronaldo has scored 100+ goals in 3 consecutive leagues. In fact he became juves highest goal scorer in a span of 2 seasons. One must also be good at every aspect like heading, weak foot, penalties etc. Like I said messi is a

It’s not even a debate! Messi has a higher:
    Goals per game ratio
    Goals per minute ratio
    Goal contribution per min ratio
Has over 100 more assists and higher ratio as well in 150 games played less than Ronaldo
    Has more freekick goals
    Has more long range goals
Has TWICE as many successful dribbles in 150 games less played than Ronaldo
Has TWICE as many big chances created in 150 games played less than Ronaldo
Has TWICE as many MOM awards and played 150 games less than Ronaldo
Has a lot more individual goals scored when dribbling past multiple players
Has a higher % of shots on target
Has a higher % of shots per goal
Messi has won 42 major trophies to Ronaldos 34
Messi has also won many more individual awards/trophies overall than Ronaldo
Ronaldo has scored more headed goals and is one of the best at headed goals ever and yeah he beats Messi in that department hands down and just edges Messi in a few departments, but the overall impact of Messi is on another level and in most stats beats a Ronaldo, since you keep bringing up stats so much you need to see that in the majority of stats Messi still comes out on top but even without stats most football ppl can see Messi is on another level to Ronaldo, here’s an example of how many areas Messi beats Ronaldo in just stat wise:
    Messi has a higher:
    Goals per game ratio
    Goals per minute ratio
    Goal contribution per min ratio
Has over 100 more assists and higher ratio as well than Ronaldo in about 150 games played less than Ronaldo
Has more freekick goals in about 150 less games played
Has more long range goals in about 150 less games played
Has TWICE as many successful dribbles per game in 150 games less played than Ronaldo
Has TWICE as many big chances created per game in 150 games played less than Ronaldo
Has TWICE as many MOM awards and played 150 games less than Ronaldo
Has a lot more individual goals scored when dribbling past multiple players
Has a higher % of shots on target
Has a higher % of shots per goal
Messi has won 42 major trophies to Ronaldos 34 in about 150 less games and less years in the business winning 2 Trebles with Barca.
In a calendar year Messi has a crazy record of 91 goals in 69 games at his best even Ronaldo couldn’t ever come close with 69 in 59 games in a calendar year at his best.
Messi has also won many more individual awards/trophies overall than Ronaldo and won World Cup, Copa America and an Olympic Gold Medal. Portugal very luckily won the Euros in 2016 but don’t forget they the true stats that they had 3/3 draws in group stage no wins which would normally eliminate a team but due to new rules of best 3rd places finish Portugal scraped through to knock out stage! In those 3 games they drew they had bang average opponents in Hungary, Iceland and Austria! In knock outs they had to beat average team Poland on pens and were outplayed by the only 2 good teams they faced all tournament against Croatia and France and beat them both luckily (and without Ronaldo contributing) in late 1-0 in extra time. Ronaldo had hardly any impact all through tournament or in a the final and only scored 3 goals in total which all came against Hungary and Wales! Messi had to face much better teams internationally and impacted the games and international trophies that he won a lot more unlike Ronaldo did for euros. Ronaldo is a true great and deserves respect for that and what he has done overall but quite sad that he himself and his rose tinted spectacle fans thinks he is as good or laughably even better than Messi! Debate over..
