  • In this video I travelled up to Lower Bolfracks Fishery near Aberfeldy. Immediately I was impressed by how much investment the owners had clearly put into the fishery. With wooden board walks, new huts and secure parking I felt really comfortable going down to the river via the newly created paths.
The fishing was varied and I was able to fish both with the Spinner and Fly (see part 2). I also bumped into the owner Jim who explained everything they had achieved since purchasing the fishery in 2017. I was very impressed and look forward to returning in the future.
I paid £35 for the day via Fishpal
My channel is called Cornish Chris the Fish. I am a Cornishman venturing out beyond the Duchy to experience life on the road full time touring in my Caravan Dalleth Arta, fly fishing and vlogging my adventure. I am a novice Salmon Fisherman so join me as I experience the topsy turvey world of Salmon Fishing. I am charting my fishing adventures and will profile each fishery that I attend. I may even catch a few fish 😀

Lovely stuff again. I had an odd day. A good day, but a little odd. my local river hasn't quite woken up yet, but the first signs are just starting to show. I love this time of year. Apart from the cold, the rain, the snow, the sleet and the lack of fish.

If the current is like it is in this video, don't retrieve the lure, let it come round on it's own, without retrieve it. If you keep catching the bottom use a lighter lure. It will be much better.

And as for Tulcan I would say £120 for the 2 days.

if you are on beat b at Tulchan,,,listen to Roddy, I had 2 days some time back,,even though I was the lower life form working class he spent more time with me than the money people,,in fact he took me on the last day,,across on the boat to a cracking pool,,,but dont tell the others,,ask Him if he remembers the Rentokil van and the guy who flew the peregrines. I paid 55 pound per day.
