Salmon Fly Fishing | Kinkell Bridge | Day 1 | River Earn | March 2024

Welcome back to my channel it's feels like a very long time since I was out fishing but I am so pleased to be back. In this video I visit Kinkell Bridge on the River Earn for 2 days fishing. This is day 1 of both my visit to Kinkell Bridge and Series 3.
Kinkell offers Salmon, Sea Trout, Grayling and Trout fishing. The Salmon and Sea Trout season starts on February 1st with fish running, during that month Kinkell has seen fish of over 30lb’s caught. The Salmon season runs up until October 31st. Sea Trout begin their main runs from the beginning of May onwards. The River Earn and indeed the Kinkell beat is renowned in Scotland for having one of the most prolific Sea Trout runs. Grayling fishing is also available and is very popular throughout the winter months from November 1st through to January 31st.
