Hey Peter - great video again ! While your 2 bottles are gradually reducing in pressure from ca. 300 bar towards say 150 bar (before you top them up again to ca. 300) - do you experience any instability in the system and the fps spread increasing ? In other words - do you have a bottle pressure "sweet spot range" ? Great content as always !
Hey buddy 🙂 Preasure on the 2nd reg remains the same all the way. Very sure that it is bcs of the 1st reg. But will say that it is not very often that I fill to 300 bar. When I fill my 9L bottle it will only fill the gun to 300 bar once ofcause. So maybe 1 in 10 fills will be to 300 bar. But still no change in fps 😇 I know that many dont like the 1st reg, but I absolutely love it 🤗
Thanks Peter, nice vidéo. I have a Crown in .177 with a 600mm barrel. I shoot slugs in 13.43gr. I also shoot ZAN 16gr and NSA 15gr. Good luck and I look forward to your videos.
You fill to 300bar i assume. Me i never fill to more than 220-25 not to stress the seals so much. Some other youtuber recommended this with fx guns & thats what im goin with. Way less shots per fill though 😮
Im only filing past 250 bar on my Impact M3 bcs of the 1st reg that handles the top of the preasure. And only doing it when my bottle is topped up. I would never do it on my Panthera - even if some say that it can handle it😇
Interesting, i use a FX impact M3 in .25 cal and fill to 250 bar and get just over a mag ( 28 shots)with 42 grain slugs at 950 fps, my front reg is opened right up and my rear reg is at 160bar, i have toyed with the idea of getting a front reg delete but i have had this rifle for 3 years now and have had no issues so its a case of if its not broke then dont try and fix it.
I think that deleting the 1st reg makes more sense with super high preasure. But with a difference between 2nd reg and fill preasure being like mine it is quite a lot for the 2nd reg to handle alone and still be accurate 🙂
If anyone is curious. 300bar, 700cc tank, 700mm barrel, 22 cal 30g slugs at 1015 fps. I'm getting a min of 66 shots, which is 3 mags. I'm not sure of the max.
