  • At the $35 price point this is a very functional digital wall clock / countdown timer. (and thermometer). This clock is 16" wide (but only a few inches thick) and very easily visible from across the room. It includes mounting hardware and a mounting hole spacing template.
    The majority of the functions are only accessible via the IR remote control, and it only has 4 physical control buttons.
    So if you lose the remote you will be able to set the time, and alarm 1, but won't be able to access most of the other functions such as the night light, countdown timer, different color and brightness selection for the alarm face, alarm 2, and C/F units on the included thermometer or 12h vs 24h time display.
    The ability to use red numerals, and dim the clock light (and nightlight) is good if you need to preserve your night vision or use it in a bedroom.

      I did not find a mode that allowed that for the clock.

    How do we hang it?

      You tape the paper template up where you want it to go, (making sure it is level) nail in the two nails with included brackets onto the indicated dots (which gets them exactly the right distance apart) and then push the clock holes over the white brackets and drop it down onto the end of them. th-cam.com/video/uAjcdMuaVsY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=D76AZvbmUpys75Ev&t=223

      Yes, just the temp measured at the clock.

    I just bought one of these things on amazon for an alarm clock, and im already thinking about tearing it apart to replace the beep beep alarm sound with a sound recording module im gonna get on amazon so i can play whatever i want

      Sounds like a cool project, I'd love to see you post a video of how you connect to the circuit inside!

      @@summetj ive created a plan for it but it costs just as much as this alarm clock just to modify it. I originally was going to use one of those birthday card audio recording modules but the sound quality would be terrible

    anyone know the hourly watt consumption of this clock

    • @summetj
      @summetj  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I did not measure the power draw with a kill-a-watt meter, but the specifications have a max of 2 amps at 5 volts = 10 watts, so I expect it is
