- In this video, we are restoring some vintage American Racing Vector aluminum wheels/rims. These are classic turbine style wheels in a GM bolt pattern of 4.75. They are the same style of wheel that was found on the General Lee in the Dukes of Hazzard TV show. However, those would be a different bolt pattern, being Mopar.
I'm not happy with the way cutting the tape left the lines. I ended up repainting these rims. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Nice job!! and thanks for the advice about the hub centric spacer and the shank type lug nuts. This video will help alot of people!!
Thank you!
Nice information. About to do this same thing. I have a 69 Charger with the same paint scheme as you. I'm torn between masking off like you did or painting the rims and then sanding/polishing the machined edges.
I don’t like the way mine turned out. Cutting tape left lines that weren’t crisp. I’m going to redo it with thin tape instead of cutting.
Good work. I have the old school 14 inch style. Looking to do this. What paint did you use? Sorry I must of missed it in vid.
Just some cheap satin enamel. Nothing fancy.
