Good morning Mike, great progress. The duct tape idea is awesome. I love it when I learn something. I am enjoying watching the project. Have a great weekend, Ben 👋😎👍🍻
Duct tape trick is a good idea. I’ve done no cement work before. Are you going to need to but some filler into the screw holes from your pocket holes? Your getting close Mike. Nice job!
Yeah that trick has saved me a lot back in the day. The filler that will go into those holes will be concrete. That footing form gets buried in the dirt and not stripped. (What a waste of good wood eh) That’s all that’s needed. Cheers, Brian and have an awesome weekend.
Good morning Mike. It's a lot of work setting up the forms and the rebar. I've done a lot of cement forms but never had to deal with joining the boards from the inside, I like the way you did it. Super tip to duct tape the wire. Looking forward to seeing the concrete pour. Have a good one!
Hello Paul! Very nice to see it come together and can almost see the end now. I think at this point I was wishing I was finished already. lol. Have a great weekend! Cheers, Mike
Making good progress Mike, you're getting close to the big pour 👍🏻. Have a great weekend Mike and Michelle 🙋🏼♂👍🏻🙂☕
Thanks Luc! Could almost see the finish line at this point. Yes! You and Kathleen as well! Cheers, Mike.
Just thought of this. What we used for a lot of re-rod is hydro guy wire and that was saving us a lot of money and work....CHEERS
Excellent idea. That would save a chunk of cash for sure. Good idea.
Great idea Gator

Thanks Dave! That’s the plan, make sure it all stays where it’s put! Thanks for stopping by!
I built footers like this many time but the bigest was for a barn . Its was 150 by 75 and let me tell you that was a lot of cement.,...CHEERS
Whoa! Yeah that would be a ton of cement! It’s a nice way to do it especially saving the cost of two concrete truck deliveries. Thanks for watching!

Nice use of the pocket hole jig, Mike! The duct tape over the wire roll is also brilliant! Coming along well!

Thanks Kenny! I don’t like doing things twice so I’m being extremely carful to make sure it’s right. Cheers
