Magnificent build. Looks amazing. A new thing I learnt is to post shade with white within the panels. I guess it gives the camouflage a very realistic faded look. Great video too
Great build. I wish people would stop buying jet kits that DO NOT include the pilot figure. Maybe the manufactures would start putting them back in like Monogram ALWAYS did!!!!
Fantastic job .. the chipped and faded lettering and stars , was that your own preference or did the actual aircraft you were modelling look like that? .. whatever.. that is one well used Flogger :)
Great paint finish I like the use of pre-shading mottling before paint. You have great skill with that airbrush freehanding the camo. What type of brush is that? Awesome build presentation, thanks for sharing.
That's what I thought it looked like. In your honest opinion what do you think of it. I've heard so many people say on a few forums that H&S aren't good airbrushes. I have 2 Iwata's that I love but you got such small fine consistent lines with yours that I was truly impressed.
@@SmallSoldier I believe it is a personal opinion and what makes a modeller comfortable I wouldn't change it in the world. I very been using it for almost 8 years and it feels like an extension of my arm 😁

You re wellcome. Always nice to learn more. Within 1/72 i m not so specific and future i ll modelling 45-50 "boxes that i didn´t yet. Many scales. And i want to do it all now verry specific... Oh, sir! That's a BIG NO. MiG-27 has nothing to do with an F-14. Those are completely different machines. If you want a comparison, then a british/french Jaguar is MiG-27's closest counterpart. Same class and role, similar characteristics. MiG-27 is even a bit better than a Jag in certain aspects.
Well, it looks completely different. Nothing common with an F-14. As for the wings... yes, it really is. They are both swept wing aircrafts, but this is the only similarity between them. It doesn't make a Mig-27 a counterpart for an F-14. F-111 is also has swept wing.
I've only just noticed the Game of Thrones music in the background, great build too 👍
Thank you 🖐
Very nice build. I really enjoyed watching you do this kit.
I'm waiting for a manufacturer to release a mig-27 kit that has the correct shape. Not easy to get aftermarket where I stay 🙈 Great build 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
DAMN !!!! airbrushed your panel lines !! thats amazing

Good to know. It's always good to get the opinion of the user. I think the ones that are complaining just don't know how to use an airbrush.
@@SmallSoldier totally agree my friend

Nice build... have a question though, how did you significantly fade the markings? just sanded them down or more...? Ty!
Thank you very much
Apart from sanding I faded them with oil paint
You can see it in the step by step videos
Wow!.. looks awesome! 👍
superb oil work
Why did you leave the surfaces glossy? Otherwise it looks fabulous.
They are not
The lighting is extreme
They are semi gloss

For the god sake, WHY everyone build so nasty weathered planes from a scrapyard ???
Because some of them actually operated like that?
Also is personal choice...not everybody have to like it
