Of all the things he has said this is what I respect him for @ 20:09 "What I am is Kindred. How others choose to categorize themselves concerns me only where local customs are concerned. Individualism is a path fraught with obstacles and sometimes angry mobs. But for all its hardships, it is the only one worth taking."
19:06 is probably my favorite. Lore wise Gangrels are the most susceptible to the Beast and the most capable of overcoming it. Protean and Animalism can be the key to salvation and demise. The fact that Beckett, The Man has seen so much yet has still won this war shows how strong he truly is.
During my first play I agreed with Beckett entirely and didn't fall for all Jack's manipulatons but last conversation scared the shit out of me. It's a wonderful move to make a rational knowledgable character who keeps laughing his ass off at superstition and than make him to accept it between lines.
Actually, Uther/Kel'Thuzad/Lich King were voiced by Michael McConnohie. Though if we're talking Blizzard roles, Michael Gough was the voice of Tassadar in Star Craft.
While I do like beckett, it was very satisfying seeing him scared shitless after a little research when he had been so supremely smug the rest of the game.
When your danger sense kicks in from the excessive amounts of C4 in the coffin but you have no way of knowing what is the danger truly is a freakout moment. XD
Candy Chan no, it’s Michael Gough. Unless you have the Clan quest mod for VTMB, then Walter Brandes is a stand in voice actor for a few lines the mod adds in for Beckett. Not Dan Smith.
Is this the same guy on the game cover for bloodlines 2? The guy sitting on those iron bars on what looks like a tall building. reaching one of his hands out to the viewer?
beckett best doggo
17:49 dude literally just promoed his book to the pc. beckett is unbelievable.
I have recently learn that there is something called “Beckett’s Jyhad diary” and it’s an actual book that you can buy.
1:58 i know it's because tourette is more than a single person but this always makes me think of 'hey girl i mean they'

That sarcophagus was not kek, it was CRINGE, Jack.
4:02, to be precise.

Such a Gangrel thing to say I love him
15:00 I looked for this line for so long. "Put your ear to it, I'll shake it, and you tell me what's inside!"
0:46 his laugh is nice
nice voice... makes me calm
His voice is trust worthy
God I love Becket, he's so fucking smug.
I love Beckett's voice.
This games voice acting is so fucking good, god damn

Perhaps if all vampires were like Beckett, humans and vampires could coexist, but I do not expect that to happen for a long time.
Yeah, for every Beckett there's multiple LaCroix and Anrej.
If not for this game, reading the Beckets Jihad Diary would not be as cool. (Yes, because of the voice)
I knew he was going to be an awesome character when I heard "hey you, you're finally awake" in his voice. 😂

Hot
Whoa! Beckett is voiced by Uther/Kel’Thuzad/The Lich King?? That’s amazing range, I had no idea until I read the description
Saddler from RE4 as well. As soon as I heard him I automatically assumed he's a villain but he was actually pretty chill.
And Dan Smith from Killer7.

Beckett is awesome
Okay, so I've been replaying the game and I was trying to figure out where the hell I'd heard Beckett's voice actor before. He's Saddler, from RE4.

That's a good way to put it@@elixxon
I've stayed awhile and listened.
I believe i got the reference, is it diablo? At any rate certain Song started to play in my head. Best wishes!

Yup. Guy that voices Becket also voiced Deckard Cain.
They share in common more than just a voice actor...
God I hope Beckett is in bloodlines 2
Or Anatole, or Lucita, Or Dr.Netchurch ;) or Sasha Vykos ;)
I second that
Unfortunately, he and Jack were removed from the second part, according to the canon, they both died
@@severussnape83 Can you show the sources of it?
