Appreciate the words of wisdom. I just hope ppl listen! I came into SF with tempered expectations and I was still suprised in good and bad ways. SF has alot to get out of it, if ppl put down the social media and just play without a bunch of preconceived notions. Well said!

Thank you very much, what you said is true, that person said why does this exist, because of social media it stops blocks and puts people off playing something they really might enjoy.

Great take on the game. It’s not all about min maxing your game play, it’s about having fun. At the end of the day, I’m enjoying the game, and that’s all that matters.

ill say this is also the first iteration to a new series, i get peoples frustrations with the games systems and wanting more from a nex gen game that took this long to build but Skyrim wasnt build the first time. it took multiple tries in the elder scrolls universe to hit that and i think the same will be true here.

I agree 100% with you..dont rush the game..and do the side and faction stories and missions as wel...but ofcourse the game is not for everything...like my younger nephews ..the dont have the patience to go trough all the story and having to talk a lot to all kinds of people ingame..,,,,but for me..this is one of the best games ever..i love it!

    Great video, and great advice.
I wish I had more time to play Starfield. I've watched videos and heard a lot of complaints, but so far, I'm really loving playing the game. On my last playing session, I decided to go out and just wander around Jemison and see what is out there. I wandered about, scanning creatures and plants, found some abandoned (and sometimes occupied) facilities like farms and fuel depots. I ran across weapons so much better than the total crap guns you come across early on in the game's storyline. I was really shocked to find a pistol that does nearly 60 damage, when the best I'd found so far otherwise was a rifle that does 16 damage. I just need to find ammunition for the thing. I think one of the coolest things that happened is, while approaching an abandoned farm, a ship landed, and I ended up in a fight with some Ecliptic mercenaries. I kinda wish I would have run up and gotten in close to fight them. After I killed two of the three mercenaries, the ship took off, abandoning the third. If it hadn't taken off, I could have tried to take over that ship. Ah well, I got some gear to sell off the three dead mercenaries, at least. I was chased off from another farm earlier. The farm was automated, and had a crew of robots that attacked me and ran me off. I saw wildlife getting into fights here and there, and some of them even decided to attack me. One creature, which I'd describe as a giant carnivorous walking flower, attacked me, and a stray shot hit a herbivore herd animal, and the entire herd came after me. There's really so much that can happen if you just wander a bit.

True, the first thing I did was exploring, stealing 2 ships and looting every trash to go to the lvl 75 planets for speedleveling and best equip till I'm ready for the rest of everything so I can 100% every planet in one go instead of running everywhere in 50% and hate to go back at some point. At least the walking simulator part is enjoyable with all the random generated maps.

Completely agree. Too many peoples complaints are basically “they didn’t make the exact game I wanted.”
It’s sucks that it’s so PC heavy. (It doesn’t seem like it needs to be, especially how well it seems to run on console). It would be great to have some sort lander/rover vehicles to get around the surfaces in (like having a horse on Skyrim), or at least the ability to fly around and choose landing sights on your own.
Fast traveling helps in a lot of these areas and bridges the game to so where between an RPG and an interactive movie.
I’ve only played a few hours via cloud gaming because it won’t run on my PC and game pass/ cloud gaming is basically my Xbox. (Only drawback is wait times to play during peak play hours).
But like you said. For what the game actually is, they have done a fantastic job and just like their other games, mods are just gonna make it better.

@@runnergo1398 yeah. I just wish it was as “next gen” as the promotors keep saying it is. I’m enjoying it so far. I never expected it to be comparable to no man sky or say KSP etc.
The reverse would be true. Imagine if No man’s sky had the RPG and dialogue aspect of Starfield!!!

Here are the five best ways to have fun in Starfield: 1. Use the console command to change your carry weight to 500,000 because inventory management is boring. 2. Install Neutral Luts mod to make that depressing fog go away. 3. Use console command player.setscale 0.92 so you walk faster and run faster. 4. Add unlimited sprinting mod so you can sprint forever, since every location you want to go is 5 minutes away. 5. Add show more points of interest mod so your scanner detects POIs that are much further away. I have five more, but this is a good start.

    • @runnergo1398

I think the mod that lets you unlock locks with just two tries into single slots is a huge time saver. I was spending way too much time and sometimes failing on the harder locks. I try not to add too many mods because of few of crashing, but so far the neutral luts and the lock mod has been OK.

Before watching the video...my tip to enjoy the game is to stop listening to other peoples opinions and just play. The game has the most mixed reviews ive seen. Streamers hate on it so there followers, well you know, they follow. Steam reviews are mostly positive. I never really played a Bethesda game and im 130 hours in. The only time i ever felt bad about the game is when I was watching news on the game.

I hear you but most of people hating on this game isn't hating for it for any real valid reason but because they are so many far right extremists right now hating on anything that is even slightly liberal. the steam forums have been completely overwelmed with anti-woke people ruining forums for any other type of feedback calling anyone who isn't part of the anti-woke movement a shill for the company. I seen a detailed post detailing and why how every single faction in this game is a liberal faction and game doesn't at all cater to any of the far right beliefs only catering to liberals and facists. I don't understand these politics myself. I always considered myself independent but after seeing all these posts I now wonder if I am actually liberal. I honestly feel like the game doesn't push a political agenda or believe system on anyone. When you create a character your pronounces default to he/him for male bodies and her/she for female bodies. only way you'd be called anything else is if "YOU" ask, so i don't understand why so many people are freaking out over the pronounes when literally every game ever made that let's you choose between male or female has called you he or she, i guess they are most upset that you have option of being called the opposite pronounce for what you look like? I don't get it, and it's a single player game why are they demanding company remove something from a single pllayer game that tries to cater to a wide audience and still let you play it way you want. Also people keep saying over and over again that there is no white people in the game and game is anti-white, yet from my experience while there is a large variety of races in the game the majority is still white, am I crazy? All this negativity in forums is really upsetting me and honestly I would have never bought this game if i actually looked at the steam forums first. but I can honestly say I have been completely enjoying this game and loving every moment. I haven't put so many hours into a game in such a short period of time in a long time, every moment i get i been mostly playing this game. I'm well over 50 hours in and there still a lot of side-quests and few factions I haven't done yet. I did end up going new game plus because i really wanted to know what happened but to be honest... i don't think it's worth it, unless i don't understand it, losing all your bases and items and inventory isn't worth new game plus. Like i feel like if i want to make outposts for example then I need to abandon idea of doing new game plus.

It's so weird watching so many friends and family become such hateful people towards people they never met. Just goes to show how easy it is to spread hate/fear compared to spreading love/acceptance. And they all claim to be followers of Jesus which makes the whole thing even more bizarre because Jesus would never act like them. I'm pretty sure that if they ever actually met Jesus, they would persecute just like they do anyone else.

Wait, so your first tip is to not believe social media and go explore a planet for yourself and turn realize what people said in social media was actually true. That empty planets are boring. Sorry, scanning Fana while spamming the A button for 2hrs is not fun.
We shouldn't have to do anything in order to make Starfield fun. The damn game should just be fun lol Do XYZ to correctly play this game is so silly.
