He has other songs on his TH-cam page that are completely different from these examples. And The Big Push also has original songs. His dream is to be a director. He's written a script and is going to make a pilot and try to sell it to Netflix. I bet it will happen.

I’m new to REN. I’m late to this train and I listened to “Hi Ren” first then fell deep down the rabbit hole… and Lord help me, but why does this music video turn me on. My understanding of this particular song is that it was written a year ago and goes with the album’s Sick Boi theme. Ren is basically embodying a Screech-like character in the video, and the man who’s stuffed in the trunk shows up in the video for Animal Flow tied up. The class of the track is undeniably brilliant but so was your reaction and contribution and that does count a lot. I always watch the original first and in the case of Hi Ren must have watched every reaction and you get a real feel of who's views matter and yours certainly so.

There's definitely some roughness in his past he wasn't always the "good kid" I can recognition forsure...but gangsta is a stretch but gangster has a whole other meaning in itself.

I think the hook is a shout out to Barrington Levy's "Murderer". Ren defo listens to a lot of reggae for sure. Growing up in the UK in the 80s and 90s there was plenty of reggae and ska for us to listen to!
