Ren is what happens when rap from America makes its way to the UK, mix it with all the great guitarists, add in the gigantic raggae scene in the UK, and then Eminem comes out. 20 years later you get a kid that had to go through A BUNCH of shit, almost died, wanted to die, then started to get better. Ren. Possibly the most important artist of the last decade.
If you do "What You Want" you can tell he is a hip-hop-ologist. Like he has a doctorate in Rap.

Ren is a beast. With lyrics, delivery, and beats. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are a lot of rappers out there who would love to get him to produce a beat for them. That Ren flavour is something special. And you know what? Ren doesn’t even need this beat to kill the song 😅 There’s an acoustic live version of this song and it might even be better than the studio version. Madness.

Ren finally told us about Noah was late for the ark. Humanity is do blind that even when they are given a rescue, they would miss the boat. Seems to be happening with climate issues.

Another great reaction! "Pupils dilate in the dark. People die late in the dark." is one of my favorite bits of lyric from any song. My interpretation: Some people learn to see better because of the darkness in their lives, and some are knocked down by it. Not sure if that's what Ren had in mind, but he said he leaves all interpretations open to his listeners.
