Escaping Atlas Prison Camp - Advanced Warfare - 4K

Gideon, Mitchell, Ilona and a recently captured Cormack are marched into an Atlas prison camp, where the abusive guards force them into a torture room. Irons enters and expresses his disappointment in Ilona, Mitchell and Gideon. When Cormack confronts him saying "Will died fighting for what he believed in", he takes an Atlas 45 from a guard and shoots Cormack and tells him to consider if it was all worth it, and then destroys Mitchell's prosthetic arm, rendering it useless. After Irons leaves, Gideon and Ilona eliminate two guards and guides the group to escape, with Ilona taking Cormack with them.
The group is separated because of a security door, forcing Gideon and Mitchell to go on their own path. Due to his broken prosthetic arm, Mitchell is forced to use a limited number of weapons one-handed, and the Atlas 45 is the only one that can be aimed down the sights effectively. He cannot reload, so whenever his current weapon runs out of ammo he will drop it and use a knife, and has to pick up a new firearm. Melee is done by pistol-whipping, and as such will no longer be a one-hit kill. The duo manage to take down the majority of troopers in the area and secure a Warbird, which is promptly crashed by an airborne AST. In the wreckage, Gideon assists Mitchell with entering and piloting the mech, which is still usable; Mitchell then paves the way through more infantry until reaching a security gate, where he allows access for his teammate before self-destructing and ejecting from the suit.
As they make their escape from the camp, Sentinel Task Force bombs the facility as per Gideon's initial request to

This was one of the most memorable campaign in the whole franchise, especially if you play it on Veteran. You need to manage your ammo and make your shots count. It's also not as linear as most COD missions so gg for Sledgehammer games for thinking up such an interesting and creative mission. My only complaints is the lack of weapon variety. All you get is SN6, AMR9,and Atlas 45. Would've been cool if there was a pump-action shotgun

I did like that last touch where the US Army flies in to take the prison. like she informed them of the location before securing the truck. that way Atlas wont bother pursuing them as they got the Military to worry about
This prison is by far one of the most brutal prisons I've seen in video games

Why is info about the manticore's launch time and destinations displayed at a prison camp like it's a Superbowl?
Why would you need to ask a mortician where it's being launched from when they have been displayed all around the camp?
Why would some random mortician know where the manticore is being launched from?
How did they know this specific mortician would know where manticore is being launched?
Does Atlas know what classification levels are and why they are important especially when you're trying to take over the world?

Because it wasn't meant as a camp, initially. One character said it themselves, they just stamped prison camp on it, and called it a day.

Yep clearly I didn't pay attention and realize because it wasn't a POW camp to begin with, there was burning barrels there. Otherwise, if it was then clearly there wouldn't have been any burning barrels.

I actually was with Jonathan Irons until this mission.. He killed Cormack and the shit they did to the prisoners. The hanging body bags was disturbing when I first saw that.

IRL, I would go back to Sun Tzu. A prison is designed with defense in depth, huge asymmetric warfare, strong intelligence and strong situational awareness to prevent secrets.
They've definitely learned how to stack the deck. However, it is an indefinite static system, and any lock can be picked if you have enough time. Thus a sufficiently determined, observant, and patient tactician ought to be able to escape any prison eventually on principle.
Basic stuff though, like defeat in detail, not interrupting your enemy when they make a mistake, etc. are all crucial.
I wonder what it what be like with an exo suit and a giant mech that Jack Mitchell used.Things rad as hell.
