@matt. Love your work and my most interested point in watching you is learning your thought process on anything you do. I learn so much from you. Love to family. This ride you went on reminds me of my self with my father when I was that age. He passed away when I was 12 but it’s so nice to see you and your son enjoy these moments. God bless you both. Enjoy and keep kicking ass. One day I will come and visit you. TC
Really digging the multiple camera angles on the car in this video. You should do it more often during the drive and talks. Great information as always.
@@ObsessedGarage are you recording at 100mbps? You might need faster SD cards. I know my Sony camera was notorious for overheating, but people figured out that it is avoidable with faster SD cards (mine is rated for 300mbps).
@@ObsessedGarage I'm sure it's a pain getting the different views in sync. The whole video the rear view was slightly ahead of the main forward view which had me twitching a little lol. Some editors have multi-cam sync tools (DaVinci Resolve for one), but I've never tried using them.
Was just in the bay visiting my buddy with the Lexus ISF we had a great discussion about all the exhaust systems you have done Matt and boom you come out with a video.
Dude just buy a CARGRAPHIC VALVE CONTROLLER I have one installed its a small electronic box approx 3" square and its plug and play into the vacuum line only one click and you can control the valves 100% of the time with a tiny remote! I took your advice and did a AWE SWITCHPATH EXHAUST and added the valve controller and its perfect!
The first upload of this video was crazy at the end... stay tuned for more crazy. 😂 I guess the exhaust of this car is not loud at all... the boy fell sleep 😂
I really like the sound of the AWE in this video! Are you saying that you determined that even with the exhaust button pressed (engaged) that the valves still open / close? Next you need to try Soul, I hear great things about them.
Hey Matt, I also noticed that when you let the car rev down when you let off with the dundon system it had a crazy raspy sound. But would that be fixed if you did the dundon catted headers and race muffler? I just think the dundon system sounded insanely good for a non titanium system and almost no drone as you said. Also if the car wasn’t white would you still have made the switch to AWE? Considering the yellowing would not have been noticeable on let’s say black or blue paint? Cheers :)
When you are catless you do get some rasp when off the throttle as the revs fall for high RPM to lower. The cats will eliminate that. The AWE is really good for a simpler system, but catted Dundon is the way to go.
Thought it was just a fluke in the M3 videos and then saw it here - is there a reason you have the R3 tilted up a bit? I thought I read on the vortex site that it is best to keep them level
Drone can be quite a bitch. Even though its a GT3RS I would have to imagine this thing doesnt make a singe klink or klank from the front or rear end even when pushed hard. A modern porsche (especially with a PDK) have such a digital refined feel that any amount of drone just doesnt mesh well with it. Its like putting a lightweight flywheel and puck clutch on something like an M5 (when it was available with manual), having the interior shake and rattle when letting out the clutch just does not mesh.
I got your 14th iteration. Straight pipe.

Thanks man!
You have the best co-pilot! Your a great dad Moreman!
Your son was killing me in the beginning 🤣. Great kid great vid

I'm going to keep working on it. It's a whole lot more involved. I tried shooting in 4K, but the GoPros were overheating.

kid is asleep in a gt3rs, must not be a car guy..
For most kids they only appreciate the things they don't have. I bet you anything he would point at a $2000 Miata and go "woah look at that".
Ry Ry is the man!
Ok i'm sold , that does sound really good.
Very helpful video! how come you never tried JCR or IPE systems?
I was curious about this as well.
God a 4.0 just sounds so good

I don’t think I would be capable of uttering the words “butthole exhaust” with a straight face. 😂😂😂😂
Hey Matt,
What’s louder in volume , awe switchpath or your full dundon setup?
They are about the same volume.
Jsr makes a great full system
Oh boy... That's the next TH-cam approved exhaust. Last year it was iPE.
God that sounds fantastic.
I really like the sound of the AWE in this video! Are you saying that you determined that even with the exhaust button pressed (engaged) that the valves still open / close? Next you need to try Soul, I hear great things about them.
Yes, the exhaust button essentially does nothing but open the valves at idle.
Hey Matt, when you talk about the yellowing from being catless, are you meaning just your license plate? Or the ppf and/or white paint too?
All of the above.

Ry Ry wishing the seats were the 18 way instead of the carbon bucket so he could recline it like a Lazy Boy chair.
So good.
Could the Dundon Street headers be mounted to the AWE center section? Another iteration to test if possible.
No, they won't.

So he can hit the buttons on top of it
Would this be much difference that the Soul sides Sharkwerks center deletes combo people are doing? Thanks
Yes, that's drone city and will likely lose power.
I have a full jcr titanium race pipe sounds insane drone aint that bad
you literally put your kid to sleep in a 911 gt3... amazing 😂
Fifth .. It's great to have such a dad!
You should try the jcr race pipe
I'm not interested in drone.
@@ObsessedGarage it hardly drones..... and has much better higher pitch, more f1 car like

i like it
What happened with the first upload.
Get a full valved system with a remote control
With sport cats & headers
If you can sleep through custom exhaust... it’s not loud enough.
I love your videos and the products you sell, but dude. You ramble on the whole damn video. That poor kid was starting to fall asleep, as was I.
