I have so much respect for Judge Newman. He lost his son to a heart attack and was able to, not only "keep himself together", but preside over this trial in such a professional manner, it speaks VOLUMES to this man's character.

So now he has admitted his alibi is a complete work of fiction and lies and there was No one Else except for the three people we heard on the video. The few minutes while Waters spoke about Maggie and Paul were very telling in my opinion. Through the entire trial, every time Maggie or Paul were mentioned, AM INSTANTLY started crying, wiping his eyes and nose constantly. This time, nothing. Not Even so much as a red eye! The jury did their job and did it well!

i feel bad for alex murdaugh but at the sametime i don't feel sorry for him, maybe cause he's now locked up forever and his other son lost his immediate family
Alex, I think deliberately, refrained from informing judge Newman of the remainder of the term he used to describe his modus operandi by which he's operated on his entire life it appears, as it perfectly and succinctly sums up EXACTLY what Alex did whenever he was confronted with the cold, hard truth, that being.... "Oh what a tangled (sometimes changed for wicked) Web we weave, when first we PLAN TO DECEIVE".
Yes God is merciful indeed . Justice and Mercy are the foundation of his Throne . If Alex repents from the Heart he will be forgiven but this stage justice has been done . All the best to you and as the song goes dont worry be happy !!!
Yes he did Kill them . The Judge has a point about the Drugs but he told Maggies sister the Person who did this thought about it for a long time . he was talking about himself so looks Premeditated to a large extent .
Does anybody in the Murdaugh family or Maggie’s family or any friends of the families think he’s innocent. Buster? Does he believe his innocence? If so they should seek out the. “Real killer ‘s “ but I think they all know the truth
Suppose he had confessed that he carried out the murders under the influence of the drugs, would it have spared him the maximum life sentence or death penalty? He’s a legal expert himself and he knows well why he’s lying.
He was a fool to tell AM he might not have been the killer but morphed into whatever alter ego he wants to dream up AM became because of his addiction. What a ridiculous thing for a judge to say. I hope he doesn't give all killers an out to blame the monster inside them as if they aren't responsible for their own actions because this judge likes to conclude they weren't themselves. Just psycho babble.
He has to have money and a lot of it to buy his drugs . He is in desperate need of funds. So you will kill to get life insurance. But you won’t kill to not be sued for 10, million what is the difference ?
In my opinion, i don’t agree the judge said he took opioid 20-60 pills and changed Alex Murdaugh to a monster to kill his wife and son, as I remember, my parents took opium for years in the year 1960-1992 and to helped my brother to control his seizures who was diagnosed epilepsy with no medication to treat him at that time. My dad, mom and my brother were very calming after they took the opium. As well as my dad’s friends.

A STATE SENATOR of course has no conflict of interest in being private counsel. And he also has tons of free time to prepare and lead this high profile trial.
Haha ‘Obviously there was the boat case BUT’
Good call people!
i feel bad for alex murdaugh but at the sametime i don't feel sorry for him, maybe cause he's now locked up forever and his other son lost his immediate family
Practice to deceive. Sir Walter Scott.
He said he didn’t remember his last conversation with Maggie when he testified. That sealed the deal for me.
Paul too. Couldn’t remember the last words they exchanged? Alex couldn’t even come up with a lie to show his so-called love for Maggie and Paul.
Yes he did Kill them . The Judge has a point about the Drugs but he told Maggies sister the Person who did this thought about it for a long time . he was talking about himself so looks Premeditated to a large extent .
I feel so sad for Maggie*s sister and family for their loss and Buster for all of his losses and Paul as well. 💔💔💔💔💔💔
Quit the advertising
Throughout the World! Judge, we have watched justice being served.
Respect to the Judge Newman, he's the New Man!! He's knowing what's to do and he is looking so sweet, what a man need more!
That's your way to see it and I have mine, that's the way life goes!
Such a horrible ruthless human Alex is he killed his wife, son and leave all his family into sorrowful 😢
@gaylpo6421. Here are a lot of judging people, not really knowing what happened.
@@ac8907 WTF are you going on about?
Does he think anyone believes he is innocent? I hope Buster finally realizes who he is.
All the lawyers and judges act nice and like they actually care while on tv but it’s a whole different world when they’re not filmed.
He has to have money and a lot of it to buy his drugs . He is in desperate need of funds. So you will kill to get life insurance. But you won’t kill to not be sued for 10, million what is the difference ?
I love this newscaster it sounds like she doesn’t think he’s guilty but I don’t know.
I get very be angry every time he says paw paw.
Didn't see that coming 🤔🙄🤨
I wonder if he is responsible for the house keepers death. He collected a lot after her death.
My dad, mom and my brother were very calming after they took the
opium. As well as my dad’s friends.
Alex testified he took that many pills at times, which is why Judge Newman brought that up at sentencing.
There will be an appeal filed in 10 days time. They are hoping to overturn the conviction in a higher court.
I'm hoping the prosecution and LE are out there looking for the clothes. How about at Eddie’s house? Keep looking for that other shotgun and have new damning evidence for the second trial if not denied by the court.
