"Despite the common belief to the contrary, veteran-specific benefits and services fall short of meeting the needs of veterans and their families, many of whom struggle to meet basic needs even with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) supports!" The Governments always find the money to go to war, but not the funds to pay for their REAL needs. Thank you Robert. 300,000 plus Vietnam Veterans have died from illnesses directly related to their exposure to dioxin (Agent Orange) AFTER they came home and for years both the USA and Australia have fought paying benefits until recently. Sadly so many patriots paid that lack of help with their lives ... "Memorial Day" ... to both governments it's just another holiday.

Most mainstream media is occupied by pundits who shill out what advertisers and corporations paying their salary want them to say. Shiny teeth & pretty hair models are not making sure you understand all the facts.
Start asking yourself when you see & hear a broadcast "What is the reason this is important to say right now?" "Where is the info i need to understand X problem and what are my representations, not some wealthy buisnesses, solutions for X?" Notice how little a 24/7 newscycle, across hundreds of news outlets, with millions of viewers, is engaging the public in asking what Americans want to do about X perpetual problems, these businesses make monies convoluting & contriving.
Write your congressmen, demand action in congress (or fired) regarding what we need to vote on, advocate ideas & changes worth voting on collectively.
      Not dualistic colors of absolutism.

Well, Joe Biden already inflated our currency by 20% in just 3 years. If everything is Putin's fault, Trump's fault, or the pandemic, begs the question, who's in charge? Go ahead, cry about what didn't happen, what you speculate might happen, but our money is worth significantly less and if Joe Biden's leadership isn't sufficient to bring about prosperity, then what is his leadership worth? "Pay your fair share" said the man whose own son is getting away with not paying his fair share. "A little bit of breathing room" is all we get, but billions we don't have spent on proxy wars, which Biden has yet to solve or quell, is acceptable to you? Remind me how many million barrels of oil from our SPR was sold to China? Remind me how many billions we have given to Iran, a known supporter of terrorism, because people like you think money is not fungible? Reminder, it was Trump who championed the Abraham Accord, literally brokering peace in the Middle East, which was promptly sidelined when Joe took office, and now we have another war in Israel, costing us billions we don't have. Tell me again how Biden should be given another term and why we cannot allow Trump anywhere near the WH again.

    • @theQuestion626

Yeah? And what happened during that time between then and now? Oh I don’t know stock market volatility, trade war that Trump lost by the way, government shut downs oh by the way he saw the longest government shut down in history because he was strong arming Congress to get money for his wall that did nothing to stop illegal immigration, then of course there was a pandemic that he tried to ignore and when it hit the country he didn’t know what to do and was desperate to keep the economy open because he knew that was all he had, oh and then there was the shaky and anemic response to that failure, then there was a stimulus checks… So basically what I’m getting at is that Biden? It’s not his fault that you’re “high-yield savings account“ is not where it was, Bonnie.
Biden had to clean up the mess of yet another failed Republican president. And I’m going to illustrate a little history to you. Republicans are terrible for your savings account. Don’t believe me? Ask people who experienced the crash of 2008. Oh and this is the part that’s going to hurt you the most but I’m here to help: if Trump gets back in office? And what? These kinds of thought processes are very short sighted and don’t tell the whole picture.
Since higher rates means increased borrowing costs, slower economic growth, higher mortgage payments, strain on small and medium sized businesses, lower consumer spending and confidence, plus many more. You making that in saving doesn’t really make a difference when it’s being passed on by the costs of everything else.
Low rates also has its cons, however rates only went so low due to the world being halted by Covid, in order to stimulate the economy.
This interplay helps manage economic stability, although it’s not always timed well or effective in the short term.

When I was an English teacher in the Mesa Public Schools district in Mesa, Arizona, I applied for the federal loan forgiveness program. One stipulation was that applicants had to have taught two or three years in Title 1 schools. No, problem, I thought. I'd taught 11 years in Title 1 schools. When my application was rejected, I was depressed. My husband's cousin taught Math and he had his loan forgiven, but not me. Then I heard that only Math and Special Ed. teachers received the loan forgiveness. Later I heard that 93% of teacher loan forgiveness applicants did not get their loans forgiven. What gives, and where did the money appropriated for that program end up? Probably in some congressmen's or school administrators' pockets. I know someone who just had his debts forgiven. He studied geology, and got a job working for his state's EPA. He makes $15/hr. He's 62--now he can look forward to retirement. He's been paying the min for years--while he raised a family.
My son in law just graduated with a degree in emergency management. He's got more FEMA certifications than most. He did an unpaid internship. While there are more disasters and emergencies than ever--he can't get a job in his field. He's working as a school security officer--because those loans come due the day you turn the tassel. It's compound interest, and you can't get rid of them with bankruptcy.
Lots of people criticize those who carried debt, but no one has a solution that works for today.
"The average cost of attendance for a student living on campus at an in-state public 4-year institution is $27,146 per year or $108,584 over 4 years."
Most young people won't be able to pay off 100k in debt in ten years--not even working 7 days a week. This is why most young people realize they won't ever own a home. It's why so many aren't having kids or getting married. With compound interest, these debts often grow faster than they pay them down.
Why is it okay to allow our younger generations to struggle financially? Deny them debt relief, and we'll STILL be paying for them--just not for their success. We'll be paying for their failures: SNAP benefits, Section 8 housing, Welfare, WIC, Medicaid, and even incarceration. Glenn Kirschner, in a recent video on his channel titled

explains step-by-step how every concerned and angry American can file a judicial misconduct complaint form with the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals to insist that Cannon be removed from the case and a fair, impartial, and independent judge be assigned trump's federal case in Florida.
    *Update:*
In a more recent video (towards the end of it) on Brian Tyler's channel titled
*"Prosecutor takes on Supreme Court amid new scandal,"*
Mr. Kirschner urges everyone to also file misconduct complaints (on the same website where you file againstCannon) against justices Alito and Thomas. One form per person.

To that end it is imperative that they hold trump (preferably also his co-conspirators & enablers) accountable and make an example of him.
The very least I can do (being a foreigner) is to pass on the information about this recourse which Mr. Kirschner presents you Americans with.
This (spreading the word) is something _everyone_ can do, and I encourage you all to get the word out here on youtube as well as to family, friends, relatives, and acquaintances.

Just one thing that really bothers me is that all that Trumpism, it's like a sect... You can't reason with them, they won't even take the opportunity to look at issues from multiple views and even worse they defend it without even questioning what truly has been said and what it really means for their personal situation. To teach the people to see things objectively, then to listen to someone who just says the right words, just to get back into office and let history repeat itself... Something around '39...

i've said this to a couple of other people, but the reason that inflation is so bad is because biden has been acting pretty fiscally conservative by doing things like not going after some of the major culprits of inflation, that being corporations who have been artificially raising the prices of things. Considering who trump is, the inflation will be the same or worse.

      High inflation was caused by:
      1. Tarriffs from Trump.
      2. Supply chain disruption.
      3. Corporate greed selling everything at a higher price.
      4. Corporate consolidation leading to no competition and higher prices. Biden has inflation fallen by 60% and core inflation is at its lowest level in two years.

    • @altrag
      @altrag 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Sure, but they'll just blame Biden for it. Or at least try to. That schedule was planned with the expectation that Trump would serve two terms and then there would be a flip, as that's by far the most common scenario when it comes to presidential elections in the US. Ideally (by their reckoning), they could ride out the wave of "low taxes" and have the spike hit just long enough after a Democrat takes office that they could "plausibly" lie about why there's a sudden tax increase.
Trump's failure in 2020 kind of screwed that plan up. It'd still work if Biden retains the presidency (might even work better as there's a larger time frame to lie about) but if Trump wins they're going to have that much harder of a time. They'll still try to blame Biden of course, but the timing they chose for the purposes of a "plausible" lie goes both ways - Trump will have been in office long enough that the lie will be harder to push.
Of course Trump's got a saving grace on that front - he's likely to make everything else so terrible that a tax increase is the least of peoples' problems.

@@helendropinski3754 > keep those tax cuts for everyday Americans!
I'm not sure if this is sarcasm or if you're an actual Trumpist, but either way I've got a question: Why would he keep those tax cuts?
He isn't allowed to have a third term, so if he does get reelected there's only two options:
      1) He leaves office when his term expires. He's not running for reelection so why would he care about your vote? There's enough sycophants on Fox and at his rallies to keep his ego boosted so what's in it for him? And it's not like he's ever shown any proclivity at all for doing things that aren't purely for his own benefit.
      2) He doesn't leave office when his term expires. In this case he's already destroyed any semblance of American democracy anyway so again, why would he care about your vote?
The only way this "works" is if he can tie the extension to an even bigger tax cut for the rich than he gave them in 2017. Probably need at least another $3-4tn added to the deficit this time. Rich people gotta keep up with inflation too, you know!

I'll add a couple more, straight from Project 2025, section on changes to the IRS, in American Fascist double-speak. 1. A REGRESSIVE tax structure will be created in which persons living at, near or under the poverty line will pay the same rate as someone who makes much more, i.e., there will be only 5 or 10 % rates. 2. Social Security, which is fixed, will be taxed at the same rate as wages, even though MILLIONS of Social Security recipients live below the poverty line. 3. ALL tax credits, including the Child Tax Credit, will be eliminated. 4. And, if enough revenue is not able to be generated with this tax structure, a 10% Federal sales tax may be implemented. Remembering that both the vast majority of wage earners and most Social Security recipients live paycheck to paycheck, does that libertarian-inspired policy seem like an intelligent way to increase spending to stimulate the economy? Tax to death the millions of people who can least afford it to the point that they cannot buy anything except absolute necessities? IMO this smacks of conservative voodoo economics created by wealthy people for the benefit of equally wealthy people.

Well, 20% inflation of our currency in just 3 years is a shadow tax on all of us.
Is your home and car insurance more or less in the last 3 years?
Are building and mechanic labor and those material costs more or less in the last 3 years?
Are fuel and energy costs more or less in the last 3 years?
22oz cans of Arizona and Peace tea have been 99¢ for the last 20 years. Now they're at least 50% more. Is that a consequence of tax cuts, or poor economic leadership?

Social Security is self funded - it has zero impact on the federal budget, or at least it did until the Republicans started raiding the social security trust fund for their pet projects. It was supposed to be a loan, backed by bonds, but of course was never paid back. They stole roughly $2 trillion dollars from it. Inflation and the cost of food, etc...is a result of big corporations inflating prices, charging more for essentials, leaving consumers forced to pay whatever they charge. The president (no matter which one) cannot change this, for good or bad. If you think Trump will reduce the cost of food, not going to happen. This is all incredibly frightening, there does not appear to be an end in sight to any of it. Hopefully, someone who can actually does something before it's too late.

Um, 20% inflation in the last 3 years is a good indicator of poor economic leadership, only stupid, delusional people will think otherwise. Name one thing that was bad/wrong with the economy under Trump. Joe Biden repeatedly says that he "inherited" 9% inflation. That's false. Inflation was 1.4% in 2020/21. How's that "Inflation Reduction Act" working out for us? Was that Trump, or Democrats who championed that? Even Janet Yellen herself, in sworn testimony in congress said, "the IRA does little to lower inflation."
Go take a look at how much the national debt has increased in these Biden years, and take a look at the trillions in budget deficit championed by Democrats, then tell me whose leadership is responsible for the current dump economy we have now.

You forgot his plan for 10% tariffs on all imports. That will not only rise the price of imported goods, but also the price of products made in the USA, that have imported parts.

    • @chugwaterjack4458
      @chugwaterjack4458 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    • @Bobcat9
      @Bobcat9 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

Did you ever stop to contemplate and understand the far reaching effects of whatever the tariff rate is? Increasing tariffs on imports promotes growth domestically, which is necessary to sustain economic independence. How many things in your house say "made in China" versus "made in the USA" ?? Meanwhile, in just 3 years, Bidenomics has managed to inflate our currency 20%, which makes everything more expensive, not just imported goods. Worry less about what the tariff is and worry more about how much less our currency is worth because of runaway spending of money we don't have and perpetual budget deficits in the TRILLIONS.

@@Bobcat9 first inflation was all over the world, not specifically in the USA.
Second the inflation in the USA is already down to a sound 2%, that’s better than other peso countries. And lowering it further would harm the economy like in Japan.
Third only it’s stupid to want the low paying jobs back. I’m from the Netherlands, we used to build ships, until Japan took over, and after that Korea. We built now super luxurious yachts. It’s not about production, it’s about adding value.
Fourth: you’re not up to date, cheap labour production is already shifting away from China to South America. And that must please you, less economic immigrants.
Fifth: what about imported parts in the domestic production?
      What about flowers?

@@jannetteberends8730 Joe Biden is in charge of the most traded currency in the world. And he inflated it 20% in 3 years. Fact.
The fact it is lousy elsewhere is not an excuse for poor performance from the most powerful office in the world. Democrats love to forget, they never mention that inflation is cumulative in their arguments.
Joe Biden did the opposite of lead. He capitulated to revenge politics.
Fact number 1: he abdicated leverage on global oil markets, cutting off our own cleaner, cheaper, closer supply with our friendly neighbors on the same fukking continent. He did so in favor of adversaries like Russia, Iran, BRECS and OPEC harvesting and refining and delivering and dispensing their dirtier, more expensive, and further away product
Reminder, it takes petroleum, to operate every train and truck, and the cost of that is compounded and multiplied every time the price of fuel to the end user, goes up, even when that end user is a bank of giant diesel
engines powering ocean tankers arriving in US ports.
A good leader would have navigated us to an increase in value, or at least hold steady. Everything in our nation is worth less, or costs more, and the cost of petroleum is inextricably linked to the value of our currency, any day, year over year. Ignoring that and blaming our economic performance on others, like Putin, or the pandemic, is a huge error in your logical conclusions.
Whose fault are all the outcomes/consequences of Trump’s years? They’re all his, right? Trump gets the blame for shiit he never did, never says, never meant, and certainly the things he did do.
Now Joe. Whose fault are all the outcomes/consequences of these Biden years?
Not his. It’s all Putin’s fault, Trump’s fault, the pandemic, Republicans, MAGA. Joe’s not to blame for a dang thing apparently.
Our money is NOT worth more, everything costs more, literally everything. Imagine, average of 1% inflation for 20 years. Then imagine the difference in leadership when that same 20% comes in only 3 years. Then go look up how much money we’ve bought from the printers, aka The Fed aka the money tree… that service isn’t free. It costs us money, and the more they print, the more everything loses value.
He had one job. Lead the way in exceptional, excellent world class leadership that paves the way for other nations to emulate. Instead, we’re a laughing stock, beset by homemade crisis after crisis.
According to you, inflation all over the world is to blame for Biden’s poor performance. Meanwhile, all we get is “a little breathing room” - sounds like a winning strategy to me, how bout you? Are you happy with that? How much do we pay in taxes, for “just a little bit of breathing room”
Reminder, brokering peace between Russia and Ukraine doesn’t have to cost hundreds of billions. Just the cost of hosting or attending a handful of decisive, productive, resolutions reached between leaders.
Joe Biden is the worst, and the proof is on TV every day. “Pay your fair share” said the man, repeatedly, whose own son plead guilty to not paying his fair share. Then his sweetheart, way above the law plea deal he got, collapsed because he got too greedy, wanted immunity from future crimes.
Now he pleads not guilty, and remains above the law every day he’s not prosecuted for EVADING the payment of his fair share, which coincides with millions in secret money, payable just because he’s a Biden.
Meanwhile, Joe seems to think the pandemic happened when he was VP. Repeated that statement a couple 3-4 times now. Never corrected himself. Just repeated it, like it’s somehow true.
Ask Joe what he was thinking when his son Beau was delivered home after dying on duty in Iraq.
Oh wait. Beau Biden died in a hospital in Maryland. He returned home on his one two feet, not dead, not in a casket.
Seriously, Joe has said 3 separate times, that Beau died in Iraq.
It’s not Joe’s fault the onset of his dementia coincides with his presidency. It’s YOUR fault for ignoring that flaw of his, and asking for 4 more years of this shiit show.
