- In this video or patient of Urocentre talks about his experience of undergoing an hour IRS surgery and the experience of stent removal. RIRS is a surgical technique where we use a flexible endoscope to go into the kidney and remove the stones from the ureters as well as the kidneys.
There is a single day admission and patient is back to work the next day.
Are there chances of forming spots on the exact same location of the stone removal which can be mistaken as stone in ct scans

Hi, quite an informative video. I have a stone and I visited the doctor for RIRS surgery, they did but only put stent before by saying the ureter is too narrow. Now I have to wait for 3 weeks for stone and stent to be removed together? What is this? Is it safe? Will the stone stay there or come down and get stuck in the bladder?

@@Llolo75 it went well but they put me on Aesthetics again and did the surgery. So, this means surgery was twice. I lost a significant amount of blood in a span of 3 weeks and the post surgery backache lasted for 2-3 months. Also, the amount of anti biotics I had to take had an impact on my liver too. So, after surgery stop anti biotics and drink methi water and Amla juice everyday empty stomach. Once you are fit, start excersizing.
