My advice as a mom of 3… get the absolute basics and then buy as you know more of what you need! Yes, you will feel like you need to buy everything, you don’t and don’t waste your money!
I totally agree! But this is for your registry. I think these things are good to have so you can hopefully save money on some of the bigger items. When it’s your 2nd + you just need to get the basics then💕
@@THEMILLERS Yes! Big items like car seat, stroller, safe place to sleep etc. those are basics you have to have and also can be the most expensive! But things like baby nursery furniture, bouncers, swings, high chairs, bibs, swaddles, bottles, pacifier, etc. can be a wait and see. It’s very overwhelming thinking you need these things when you don’t. ❤
As a mom about to have baby 3, since I'm not having a baby shower this time around I did add all the essentials and big Items for baby on there, we don't have a huge family buying us many baby things from my registry just a few close family and friends which I am grateful for every purchase, but the majority of the things on my registry we're buying ourselves with the discount which is very helpful. We did get blessed with many great hand me downs from friends and family which is so helpful. But with all the things we can add on a regristry we definitely can want to buy all the things it's good to analyze what will actually be used. 😊
I'm a man in his 30's and I grew up with the Love You Forever book and I still have it to this day. My little one is coming next year and I'm glad I kept it 😂. I can confirm I loved it as a child and can still remember parts of the book even though I haven't read it in decades
Great ideas. For diaper rash cream as a mom of 8 if your baby has a bad rash the cream with the highest zinc. Zinc clears up the rash it's what they put in the creams. Expecting baby 8 we are so excited. Baby stuff never get old. ❤
I did ask everyone to write on a book instead of a card. No one followed that and gave us bunch of cards… I’m grateful. But, I was also disappointed that no one paid attention to my note.
Love when you do theses! I literally created my registry by following your older similar video. Trust me mamas it might seem like a long video but she has everything listed! 1:30 ❤
We got our ergo baby 360 on clearance at Target for $80 in store! It was brand new in box. This was about a week ago is worth a shot if you’re looking for it!
any stroller with a total lay down bassinet all the way with out an attachment. We love the evenflo one. not the easiet to push but amazing for diaper changes and naps
Love this! But I just need to share… 😅 I’m a first time mum with a 6 month old and I’ve breastfed her the whole time and still am. I put the whole haaka set on my registry and haven’t used a SINGLE THING 😂. I get literally no let down on the opposite side at all and I’ve never leaked. I just had to share since you said it’s a MUST HAVE and “you will leak”. ❤
Definitely everyone is different. I had leaking with both girls and so did my sister. A bunch of us swear by the haaka because it helps build your stash easily! That’s why I always recommend it 🥰💕
How many Fantastic suggestions! I can't believe how far things have come in 20 and 23 years! Some things are still the same, and my all-time favourite book is I'll love you forever. I still have it in the Keepsake in the box with the outfit I brought them home from the hospital and things like that. Those Fisher-Price Pack & plays where the bane of my existence but we're also a blessing in disguise. I had an in-home daycare, so I had to put three of them up every morning before work, and take them down after work, so I became a pro at it. But boy if you didn't get it right the first time, it's become a pain in the butt! The one product I highly suggest is a portable high chair, that is awesome for when you go to a restaurant or the grandparents house or to a friend's house and you just put it in the trunk of the car or the back of the van and you bring it out and the child has somewhere to sit. I have received it at my baby shower and I kind of thought it was a silly gift but in hindsight it was one of the best gifts I received. I also bought more, and used them for my daycare. Thanks Madison!
The Doona carseat was tested in the Netherlands and it turned out to be less safe in sideway collisions, but was fine when being hit from the front or back. So I didn't think it was worth it.
I have the ergobaby embrace for my second baby, and he’s obsessed with it! He’s four months now and I started wearing him forward facing since he turned 3 months (whenever he’s in the mood to be awake and look around) and it’s so nice!! Really comfortable and you’re right it’s super easy to put on by yourself. So necessary especially if you have a second baby and really need your hands free for your toddler. ❤❤ Also love the Hatch!! And copper pearl burp cloths are so great too
after having an ergo carrier I cant go to any other carrier. Anyone that wants to try one you can get on mercari or poshmark for 3rd of the price and altough used still great. I have a used one and getting another new one and wont go back!
A little late to the video but I personally liked the ladybug over the traditional haakaa. My baby would almost always find a way to kick the original haakaa and make it go flying. Also, we learned about little sleepies from you and they have been such a hit!
Currently trying for our second baby. Very glad you liked the halo bassinet. I have had my eye on it but I was almost talked out of buying it by everyone else. I had a cheap bassinet for my first and I hated it.
I had the halo bassinet on my registry with my 1st & we ended up receiving a cheap bassinet my mom bought at a yard sale. My 1st baby had such a hard time with it everytime she was put down she would wake up, same with my 2nd. My 2nd baby ended up breaking it, so we ended up having to need a new one for my 3rd. However, it worked out so perfectly & was definitely a blessing that my friend was passing her halo bassinet along & wanted to pass it on to a friend. My 3rd baby LOVES it. He actually will cry a little if i hold him a little too long while he's in that window of sleep & will stop crying when i put him down in the halo bassinet. So I say, it's up to u & it worked out great financially for us, but it still seems worth it to have the halo. I really wish i could've had it for my 2nd especially because the way her birth ended up being.
I saw disinfectant wipe in the photo and was seriously questioning that one. Yes water wipes are so great! Even for our toddler find they are best. Great for hands, face, bum …all the places!
First time mom here! 🙋🏻♀️ Only 7 minutes into this video and I’m already ready to add so much stuff to my registry!! Thank you so much for making this video with so much detail. Very helpful!!! 🤍
and the baby boppy lounger life saver. I beleive it was recalled. If you watch your baby which u should do anyway...it was a life saver....if I could pick one thing.. its that
Someone correct me if I'm wrong bc I have been trying to figure this out! A lot of moms have recommended the same fisher price swing for the same reasons, it goes in different directions and you never know what motions your baby will like. However, the one I had disappeared off my Amazon baby registry. And doing some research it seems it had a massive recall this year for safety issues? I'm considering just not doing a swing altogether.. does anyone have insight
I’m just curious… where does she use the wet wipes… hopefully not for cleaning a baby’s diaper.. aren’t they for cleaning your hands? If anyone can explain that would be great😁
We’re just doing something small since she still is only 2. We’re having a party with the family on her birthday at my parents house and taking her to the jumping place because she loves it.

@@kyoungblood9 but she’s saying put these items on you registry. So others are buying them, not you. That’s stress- free.

Ah that is frustrating lol
This was SUPER HELPFUL! I’m due in July with a baby girl and I definitely added a bunch of these to my baby registry. Thank you so much! ❤❤❤
You are so welcome!

Motorized baby swing is a must!
I love the lolipop camera, I can watch and listen to my baby while at work and still feel close to baby while I am gone and someone else is watching

The best, most comprehensive video ever!! Love all your content 💕
Hey Maddy, wrong pic of the Water Wipes! You got WET ONES on the pic, def not for diaper changes lol. Great video!
Lol I thought that I was shocked
Yea I was confused. I think she meant water wipes because she’s talked about it before.
Oh shoot! My editor isn’t a mom lol 😂 and I missed that one in review. Definitely meant water wipes lol 😂
I saw disinfectant wipe in the photo and was seriously questioning that one. Yes water wipes are so great! Even for our toddler find they are best. Great for hands, face, bum …all the places!
I saw that too & 1st was shocked of course, but then realized it was a mistake & saw the link was correct.

Did you make a mistake about the last item? ANTIBACTERIAL WET ONES?!?! as a baby wipe? I'm so confused did you mean "Water Wipes"?
Yes lol 😂 I meant water wipes 😂💀
$200 for a mattress? What ?
How are you doing it to your birthday for your daughter are you going to share that with us
We’re just doing something small since she still is only 2. We’re having a party with the family on her birthday at my parents house and taking her to the jumping place because she loves it.
