Great point on the gentle snow foam the lower the ph the safer for coated surfaces that’s why I bought the gentle one but I’m just learning of Koch chemie though and I see it’s a great product. I detail in my neighborhood but in the side though not for a living and my customers drop the car to me as I don’t want to do any mobile services and I only do one car a day because doing more than that is a lot of work. I’ve noticed that the gentle SF is doing like what yours did in the video it’s like the foam hits the surface and it splits up and looks like little marshmallows vs the standard snow foam shaving cream looking foam. I’ve used both chemical guys snow foam on my car and this gentle foam and I’m curious why it does that?. At 8:06 when it’s hitting the window mien does that but in the entire car and I’ve never seen that before.
Koch Chemie is one of my favorite brands for detailing. I use ActiveFoam and SuperFoam for cleaning all the dirty vehicles that customers bring to my shop. Gentle Snow Foam does not have enough cleaning power in my opinion. I like DIY Incredible Suds for a pH neutral soap. Just found your channel and I will be a new subscriber.
Nice review with good info about the chemicals. Can you talk more about how the electric gen works for you? Things like how long does a charge last (number of vehicles), how long to charge, any changes to other equipment, cost to install and operate (operating cost of gas vs charging), that sort of stuff. Thanks for the content.
Something that works great for me as a window cleaner is Veros Waterless wash diluted 1:2 or 1:1 as you soda streak free smells good and gives it a little bit of protection. I have a quick question as well I used to use Turtle wax, wax and dry I now use Veros 5 in 1… my question is how do you like the Koch Chemie spray wax is it hard to buff off would you rather use it on a wet or dry panel?
