Erin is still a *high international level dressage rider.* _She has money._ She owns her own riding apparel business. It's utterly foolish to try deny that she is rich compared to a lot of "normal" equestrians!
To have a new Oakley lorry requiers you to have the cash for it. Usually having enough money will help you ensure your horses safety and your own aswell.
It’s still a little weird to see the EU lorries, they are so different from the American horse trailers. But I really like the EU style better! How do the larger ones work, for more horses? Are there one’s that have more storage? I absolutely love that you can watch the horses while you’re driving! That is an amazing feature! Thank you for sharing your Lory!
You can check Olivia Towers' lorry tour! She has a large one for about 7 horses if I rembember correctly ☆

I was one of those requesting it and reason for it being, Im so used to the "original" old-school trailers and I wondered how that compares to the car lorries. Way better investment even though more expensive, but more comfortable, more secure, and less of a hassle to connect, supervise and drive. Thanks a lot Erin!

Hi all! I'm across the pond in the US. These seem to slowly be getting more popular, and I'd love one because I feel like I'd 100% feel better picking up at a moment's notice and taking my horses somewhere alone (as opposed to a truck/trailer rig). My big question though:
How do these handle on gravel, muddy, uneven terrain? I travel mostly paved roads, but do live in the mountains and some driveways are a bit steep, gravel-y, etc. They are 4WD right?

With the two horse trucks that I have seen on the internet, the horses always face backwards. Nice to know that a horse as big as Gee can travel in one of these. In Australia, you can drive up to a GVM of 4500 on a car licence.

There have been studies that show horses prefer to face backwards if given a choice, the suspected reason is it is easier for them to handle the stopping and starting so they find it less stressful.

My friend had a Lorry but she sold it to get a black Ford dully then she got an elite living quarters 6 horse black and it’s super nice but I’ve always wanted to see a lorry irl but I barrel race so it’s only living quarters and stock trailers a friend of my brothers he has a 15 horse front tack trailer bc his family is in the big cutting horse business. It’s amazing that’s really nice I’ve never really seen an Oakley lorry
