OK, so this video is not full of extremes and perhaps the title is a bit misleading. But - it is a beautifully shot exposé of one of the arguably greatest cars ever made driven very quickly (and smoothly and certainly far better than any one of us could do) by one of the world's best drivers who gives his thoughts in an albeit relaxed manner. As a driving enthusiast, I for one enjoyed it for what it was. FFS - there are so many damned entitled whingers amongst us. Where are your race driving videos shot at great expense and provided free for all? Disgusting ungrateful and ill-bred attitudes IMHO. Thank you Car mag for putting this together. His comments made more sense to me the second time I watched it. Just because he's not wringing out his pants like some car journalists doesn't mean he wasn't impressed, and presumably nothing can compare to the F1 experience anyway.

It`s the Harrods livery without "Harrods" writtenv anywhere because this car is ofcourse not sponsored by them,unlike the 1995 LeMans Harrods F1 was.
there should have been footage(preferrably out of cockpit to behold the beautiful design), at full volume, of the car on track without commentary

Owners of P1 GTRs were able to convert their cars to a road-legal status through aftermarket developments made by Lanzante Motorsport. Prompted by Lanzante's efforts, McLaren authorized the construction of five brand new cars (plus one prototype) to a specification identical to the converted GTRs, with Lanzante constructing the cars. These six LM specification cars remove the pneumatic jack system of the GTR to save weight, and the addition of lighter seats, titanium bolts, and Lexan windows. Engine output remains identical to the GTR, although modifications were made to the cooling systems. The rear wing and front splitter have also been redesigned to produce additional downforce over the GTR's aerodynamics.[34]

This video did not effectively communicate what it feels like to drive the car. I got that it has a lot of torque, and that it is "sorted out," but still have no idea what the experience is like.

Fun fact...Martin lost F3000 championship in 83 only 132 to 123. Senna won but wow. Was told to be careful with this car sadly.

It was a bit boring yeah, but MB is a racing driver, not a drifter. Thrashing a car to a racing driver is pushing the car to the limit, not drifting it like on top gear or Chris Harris
