I sold a item close to a month ago I haven’t received the payment I’m not sure if it’s because it’s my first time selling an item, but it says I have no payouts within the last 90 days,but on the listed item it says funds are available and I’ve been told I should receive the payment one month after the item sold, what can I do if the payment doesn’t go through thanks.

How to reach out to my buyer and get the payment
Thank you for your videos. I just began selling on eBay and had the automated reject offer on. A buyer made an offer and got automatically rejected. How do I send the buyer an offer for the product?
Also, how do you know when the buyer has paid?
I have never been able to send an offer to the buyer on my own without getting a prompt from eBay first offering me to send one to the buyer. Every once in a while when you are on your My eBay page a section will appear that says "send offers to interested buyers" I click that and it lets me send offers. But again I have never been able to just send them to buyers I have to wait for eBay to randomly send me that prompt on eligible items. I am not sure what makes it eligible, but that's been my experience so far.
When a buyer has paid for an item, eBay will send you a notification that says "Buyer Paid Ship Now"

As a buyer on eBay, I always pay immediately within minutes. I see why sellers are anxious for the buyers to PAY NOW. lol. What takes so long???
@@unityaboriginelove6595 Great question! Some buyers are waiting to get paid before they pay you. I don't understand it because for myself if I don't have the money I don't go shopping and if I have the money I pay instantly. But everyone is different and does finances differently. But when you go to other websites to buy stuff they make you pay immediately. I don't know why eBay allows 48hrs for a buyer to pay.
@@InsideTheBoxeBay The 48 hour grace period is mostly in consideration for Auctions. Ebay began as an Auction Only site and still has Auctions as a selling option. They really should have stricter payment rules for the fixed priced and buy it Now items. In the early days of Ebay payment by mail (by money order or personal check, even by cash) was also an option. The development (and Ebay buy out) of Paypal basically terminated the pay by mail options.

Hi I’m new here and have sold on Poshmark etc but not eBay are you saying the first few sales I have to pay out of pocket for shipping and it’s risky possibly I’m in Canada too
It has been almost 4 years since my first ebay sale, AND that was before ebay managed payments, so I am sorry if this is out dated info, also idk if there are any differences between selling in the the US vs Canada, but this was my experience four years ago. I made my first sell but the money was held in reserve until I proved I was responsible at shipping the item. So I had to pay out of my own pocket for the first shipping lable but was reimbursed once ebay finally paid me. Back then ebay sent money via paypal, now they handle payments themselves and have an option to use pending payouts to pay for your shipping orders. I am not sure if this option is available when you sell your first item now because I had been selling on ebay for a while before they rolled those changes out. What I would suggest if you do not want to pay a lot of money for the first shipment is just to sell within Canada for a while before allowing international sales. In other words, I would not let this stop you from trying ebay, the benifits of selling on ebay for me have out weighed that first shipping payment by far! Thanks for the comment!

Correct you should never have to give your buyer your paypal email address they should pay through ebay.
I had a similar experience someone offered to pay more for an item, I accepted their offer than they asked to text me and wanted my paypal email address. This is a common scam targeted toward new sellers. I stopped talking to them when I realized what it was. They never paid for the item so I had to open an unpaid item case with ebay. If you already accepted the offer and gave out your paypal email address, I would call ebay for help in this situation and I would stop communicating with the buyer. I had the same thing happened to me this morning, its a SCAM. Ignore offers that are equal to or more than your asking price.
Can u sell on ebay only using a smartphone or do u need a laptop?
You can sell on eBay with just a smartphone. If you would like more smartphone tutorials let me know! When I started I used an iPad Mini, it helps if whatever you use can be connected to a printer to print shipping labels. But you do not even need a printer to get started because eBay will email you a QR code and if you take your phone to the post office they will scan the code off your phone and print the label there for you. You should sell amazing and Walmart products that are expensive and jus double price or get a few hundred profit and yu can jus deliver it from Walmart or amazon to the customee
