Excellent review! Will there be a focus motor that you can add? I have some manual lenses that I would like to be able to use. Also does the front wheel serve the same purpose as the side wheel on weebill 2? Thanks

the first time i got a gimbal, after all the videos i watched and reviews, nobody really ever says much or anything about how to walk with a gimbal, i set it up and went for a walk in thw woods and everything was a disaster, i was stomping around like an ape the footage was not very smooth and i thought at first i got a bad gimbal, but it was just you cant walk like frankenstiens monster or it's still going to look shaky or weird, you have to walk like a special way, (basically how he is in the video parts, your legs are pretty much part of the gimbal) this is a great video, well done

I use the active track often for people on bikes, motorcycles, cars, etc. If I'm not doing that, I flip the screen out, setup what I want, and then flip it back. So, I think that's a pretty moot point about the screen eating up battery. I will admit though, the battery life on my Weebill 2 sucks anyway unless I bring a battery pack and keep that in my pocket and plug it in to the gimbal. Great review, this is a great gimbal, but not enough to upgrade from my Weebill 2. And this is the only video I've found comparing the two so far, so I'm glad it was so well done. Kudos and thank you!

Great vid! When you were swinging the gimble around I felt like there should be a strap option to go around your wrist in case you drop it. Lol

For BMPCC 6k, Weebill 2 is still the best option. Right?
I will stay with my original Weebill S with an Iffootage 180 carbon fibre monopod - it suits my needs wonderfully !

I am looking for a gimbal that has a weight range that will allow me to use my Iphone with a cage and moment lenses but also work with my Canon T7i. I am most interested in the Weebill 2 but have not been able to find any info regarding compatibility with the cameras I would most like to use. Do you have any thoughts on what I am trying to do? I do really appreciate that you test the angles and explain the limitations, like the portrait mode that works only in underslung mode and doesn't allow Lock 👍

Hi, I keep having the horizon tilting issue with the Weebill S till date, even after performing the 6-sided calibration. The PF mode seems to drift off a few degrees each time I do a pan/follow... sometimes it goes to the left and other times right. Any solution for this?
unfortunately I haven’t experienced this but I think there is a manual tilt angle adjustment in the gimbal maybe try that see if it helps?
compare the gimbal with same range of price. weebill 3 vs rsc2 would be nice
Is the 3 much lighter than the 2? Also can the mic on the gimbal replace a hotshoe mic?
only about 100g or so if you add everything up. The mic quality is good in a pinch but I don’t think it can replace a quality mic just yet.
at the point to buy gimbal for my canon R6 - debating between Weebill S or Weebill 3 - any suggestions? Thanks

Hello, a question. In menu, What does the option "motor" refer to? I set it to medium but I don't know what it refers to.
Motor with high,medium and low means strong or weak stress for the camera. If the camera and lens are heavy, you can choose high level. Which is according to the weight of your camera and lens. It is recommended to use auto calibration.
Am I able connect the Zhiyun Weebill 2 without the Ai transmitter? Do you have a video on this set up? Please advise me thank you.

shake yes, usable i think so, because most reviewers wouldnt show you raw footage without post stabilization. with post and IBIS its actually not too bad. but you could also check out RS3 which i just posted

The weebill 3 undersling is such a bad design. Other channels are kinda sponsored. But anyway it can be used like other brand 1 handed gimble I guess. To be honest I think the old design is just better.

I have the Weebill S and not consider to upgrade to 2 or even 3. Nothing that seems to be innovative to be honest.
i don't like this one. There is no option to mount an addition grip onto the front so you can attach a monitor on top or a monitor to the left and have the grib center balanced. I would not use this one for our company.

@@MrTechTok yes, this one is more like a Gimbal-To-Go if you don't want to hassle with too much setup. For what we do for our music videos we don't need big and heavy gimbals, but light and easy, but also capable and flexible. So the Weebill S was the best choice to date after we had the 1st Zhiyun Crane and the Crane 2 before.
The handle should have a cold shoe on top. so people mount monitor. That is a missing.
I think they tried to save a little. I'm a little disappointed with this year's handle
My thoughts as well. But there probably will be 3rd party handles and accessories available soon.

Vorrei capire perché ci si ostina a realizzare cose sciocche insieme a piccolissimi vantaggi forse perché vende di piú i fronzoli... Quando capirete che i gimbal ottimizzati sono quelli che si possono staccare dai manici per essere prolungati da aste con contrappesi. Se poi vogliamo essere appena piú intelligenti usiamo l'alimentazione per contrappesi. Se poi vogliamo rendere le cose veramente funzionali inseriamo un uscita hdmi al gimbal e non trasmettitori che aumentano pesi costi e dobbiamo aspettare la cinquantesimo generazione per non avere lag.
Ma forse se costruiscono questo poi non hanno piú modo di inventare altro.
