in the best way i HATE how silent the monsters are. my biggest fear is not being able to hear where the enemies are and therefore making them unpredictable to me.

Yeah while the fact we're getting some random feeling like terrified, sad, mad, etc or even all of them at the same time while preparing for the unexpected jumpscare. Well that infuriating moment is the nice time

Idk if anyone has said this yet but this game made me feel uneasy, immersed and sad. I really empathise with Aidan, I can really say that he succeeded, he did achieve something. Tbh the end made me cry so hard. I really hope he feels he is in the right place and he finally got to hear the words that, yes, this game, is pretty neat :)

I hope the Dev achieves his dream. Fear can be crushing, but what he's shown here is really promising! Especially the elevator one/staircase one, the creature was really fascinating and I like how alive it felt! Definitely jotting that name down in case he makes it big.

And i swear to God i hate that flood, the second piece / level. Especially when the monster has a weird creepy eyes and complete black mouth, and also has the spider body, my biggest fears
i actually downloaded the game and stopped playing at the flood level and came here because i just cant beat that level not along with that amount of stress

While designs like that are spooky enough, the claustrophobic feel of the stage made it thousands of times more terrifying.

You’re not the only one. As soon as I saw the blob, I knew it was the creator and I wanted to give him a hug and tell him that he did a fantastic job of making this game so that he could share his message. I liked....no... I loved this game because of the sheer amount of love that was put into it.
Even ABG tried to do something, he tried to interact and walk into it in attempt of saying id rather stay here or something of the sort but the game didnt allow you to do anything. Nicely done, made us feel.

yeah it was alot more subtle than alot of other games that are like "whatever you do, dont look back!" so that was appreciated.

I am quite impressed. This game easily has some of the creepiest monsters I've seen in any horror game. I was terrified by the second monster, and the fourth monster was very eery as well.

This game is pretty neat
Gotta admit although some rooms arent even used you must give the developer a good sense of architecture and style.
This man either power walks like that Sponge Bob meme, or his legs are longer than those of Slenderman himself. The part where he walked down the stair while avoiding that Pixal Lamp-man keeps reminding me of that "ey yo pizza here" "ok" *runs to the stairs and trips* "ay niqqa-" and fricking dies. Thank you Bobbert for the quality game.
This game surely got me in a very deep way.
I too wish to one day be able to make videogames for living, it's a dream i deeply hope to archive, but my fear are both the fact of not being able to do that in my country (Italy) which sadly was always quite hostile towards the gaming industry, and of course, as Adrian, the fear of producing something bad. I still remember my first tries on RPG maker, and the questions i was constantly asking myself while making them: "damn, did i coded good there ? What about those dialogues ? Are they alright ? And those quests ? Will people get bored by them ?"... it was really a constant torment, and when to that you add all those times when you are asked about your dream work by teachers, friends or even parents, and you respond "making videogames!" and you get looked down as to say "Jeez, is this idiot for real ?" that's when you feel demoralized in the worst way.
So Adrian, if you see this comment, yes, you indeed made a neat game, one that clearly shows the costant fear that runs into everyone willing to work with videogames, in a clever and original way that will surely be heard and understanded, truly a great first big pubblic project. I really hope you archive your dream man, and i'm sure that one day will happen... never lose your passion, my friend.

@@rimquelsiret i recently started a project with a few friends about a possible FPS. Still very early stuff but we hope to complete it one day.
The cool thing about this game is that the fear isn't just about the spooks and the jumpscares. I felt afraid because I knew there was something personal at stake. Seeing one of the monsters felt like an emotional attack. It's almost more scary because of the sadness and somberness I felt.
Dev: The goal is to collect all the pages!
Me: okay, sounds easy enough.
Dev: Try not to get caught.

I'm an aspiring writer that wants to make a video game, and I've never finished a single story.
For every existential crisis I've had wondering about my work, this game captures the feeling damn well.
In short, this game hit me where I live.

I'm only 11 minutes in, but the 2nd game where you collect the notes filled me with anxiety waiting for something to pop up, only for the dev to say "oh yeah there's no enemy"

I adore the restraint he used with the jump scares and the bridge scene in particular was absolutely fantastic.
Can we just talk about how the narrator’s voice is the same as the light switch sound and how it resonates when they enter that big room with “no purpose?” It feels like he’s in there with you, and that’s why I think this game is brilliant!
As a small and pretty unknown developer, I have to say this is pretty accurate. Not that I'm desperate or something, but we all seek to make something incredible, that people will like, but we end up just disappointing ourselves. Incredible game!

I´ve never seen such a terrifying and raw way to represent insecurities into a game.
The first creations totally based on others people work, the unfinished projects, the search of good feedback, the comfort zone, the sensation of failing every time and the feeling that you´ll never succeed on your life project, *WOW THAT REALLY HITS*
I swear when the credits show up I started to clap at the screen, just a well-done game.
Props to the creator, I´ll definitely keep an eye to his next games and... I hope more people can play to this awesome game.

Most of us fear spiders, but yall are able to kill them, well, i *p a n i c* when i see one, even little ones, i cant kill them by myself, i literally need help, even with the tiniest one.
I hate fish. I can see them just fine, but I would NEVER touch a fish.
But spiders will fear you more than you fear them. But yeah I'm not judging
I used to be the same way. Now I can almost always deal with it myself. I'm even able to capture some and release them outside, which used to seem beyond impossible for me. Work on it tiny bit by tiny bit and it will eventually get better. (It helps to keep a full can of bug spray in reach so you know you can resort to the long-distance approach if necessary. 😅)

The best part of my experience seeing this, was see the coments with moments of the video, telling that their fear was hiding in there. And I, anticipating the moment to scare myself when the time of the fear has come in the video.

This was really well done, I jumped a few times but none of the scares felt particularly cheap since you always had an idea of what was coming. The bit with the prison bars and the buttons while a monster chases you was particularly interesting, the idea that there's a puzzle element that you can use to try and shut the monster away while trying to get out, I've never seen anything like that!

Hey, I have an appreciation for anyone that takes the time to finish a thoughtful introspective horror title that explores their own fears. Now I can't say that it was personally something that terrified me, but I enjoyed watching it be completed. Keep up the good work, and don't let yourself become your constant worst critic all the time.
This game is super cool! I love the concept of one game leading to a whole host of other ones all in one canonical universe. I especially love that the developer was part of the plot line! You did an amazing job creating this, and it's also incredibly polished!

I really, really dig your reactions made all the better without narration. The shake of the camera when the game tells you to go to the basement, the way you see the first monster and just immediately turn around like "nope;" it's perfect!

In case you are speaking the truth about your feelings, I am trying to work as a Developer too. Not game Developer but its' the same. I can understand some of your fears, they reminded me feelings that I once had every night. You really have done something big, I know many people admired your work and I can tell you have more skills than needed to be a Developer. The fact is... Sometimes we don't have enough chances as we want to do something, thus that doesn't change our quality. In case you didn't notice, you did a Developer's job, so that means you indeed are one, it doesn't matter if you work alone or under company. "Great Job" is a phrase that many peoples' ears are missing and you deserve to hear it, well done!
Adrian G, I can safely tell you, that your game had me on edge alot, your atmosphere is simply perfect! I feel like even if there weren't any real monsters, the sounds and atmosphere alone would've got me very unnerved and having a feeling of being unsafe, I loved it! I really did, when you get found, and release your first big game, I'm def going to try it out!
I was really into the game. Honestly, two pearls combined perfectly : the atmosphere, Combined with the reason why you made it at the end made my hair stand up.

You put in this all the simpliest and more basic fears in our routine: the fear of the dark, the anxiety (fear from the future and of being watched by people around us), claustrophobia, fear of what we can't see. This game made me hold my breath in every single corner taken by ABG. It was a great game, and I hope that you with this great work, both of you guys, Adrian in make games and ABG in show all this to us.
