Absolutely thrilled beyond words to see Phil Mogg back composing and singing after his health issues - and this interview whetted my appetite even more for the new album! 😀
IMO,....Best CD of the year,.....simply spectacular....he sounds 30 years younger, and a tight ass band, great production,..Carter REALLY shines on this.....why in the f*** couldn't loser V.Moore write like this in his 15 years in UFO,...ANYWAY,Highly recommended
Wow Phil, thank you very much for another great interview from my 2 favorite Phil's lol. I have always UFO and Phil and have seen UFO many many times, including their final tour and they sounded amazing. I can't wait to hear this complete album soon. Cheers Phil and thank you.
I love UFO Music and I love Phil's voice. Strangers in the Night was my 1st UFO Album which I played constantly. I love the 2 News Songs from Mogg's Motel which I listen to on my phone with Headphones over and over again. Cannot wait for New Album to drop.
This was a GREAT interview. "Hi Phil, this is Phil!" 😄 Glad you asked about his interest in films, especially B-movies. Misdemeanor had several filmic songs, like Meanstreets, Heaven's Gate, Night Run, etc. This album sounds very interesting. Several songs on his first solo album, $ign of 4, and the Mogg/Way albums, would sound great live. Cheers!
I got into UFO a couple of years after you did when I picked up the red vinyl "Only You Can Rock Me" single back in 1978 - they've been an absolute favourite band ever since and I ticked a "bucket list" item by seeing the classic line-up with Schenker perform at the London Astoria in 1998 for their reunion for the "Walk On Water" album. I've never had a problem seeing Schenker as a musician in his own right, whether with UFO, Scorpions, MSG or his solo stuff, but never considered Phil Mogg to be anything more than a member of UFO, despite always having been a great vocalist in one of the best bands in the world ever. Thanks for doing this interview - it's really made me think about Phil being a musician in his own right now, and the two tracks I've heard off of the album are wonderful, I shall be buying the Mogg's Motel album on the day of release. It's also great that he's recovered so well from his heart attack and that he hasn't lost his "on-stage banter" and humour that I've seen so many times at UFO concerts. Very uplifting and I absolutely wish him success going forward - now where did I put those Mogg/Way and Sign Of Four albums that are gathering far too much dust on a shelf somewhere?
One of your best interviews Phil, i can tell you have the same affection i have for Phil Mogg and hold him in high regards as do i, i followed you on X and left F.B. So look for the rat logo, thanks Phil🙏👍🎸💎
I remember seeing Phil and UFO with Paul Chapman, Nowhere to Run Tour in Portland Oregon. Small Theatre about 2K people. Fantastic Concert and I always Love Phil and his voice. What a Great Bloke.
Thank you, Phil and Phil! Looking forward to getting this soon. Always love UFO, and Phil is integral to the sound. One of my favorite singers ever. Can't wait to hear new music. Thanks again Phil A for the presentation.
Thanks for arranging this Phil. Mr. Mogg was my first fave singer back in '76 when I was 11. Stuck with UFO since through thick and thin. Looking forward to "the Motel". Cheers!
Super nice interview and after listening to it i played some of the new tracks on you tube and will buy the cd. Before this interview i was not in the mood to check it out but now i will buy it. Your channel works Phil. Greatings from Spain.
Great interview and love the new Mogg's Motel stuff. Saw UFO at Surrey University in 1981 shortly after Neil Carter joined the band and released the Wild Willing and the Innocent album. A top band! The new interpretations of old UFO songs that Michael Schenker is doing now is also great particularly only you can rock me with joey tempest. Stormin!!
Sounds a big diversion from Ufo and looking forward to hearing Phil's female vocalist on there. Long live Phil Mogg! By the way it is worth checking out UFO's classic performance on old grey whistle test available on youtube.
Saw UFO 5 times , 1976 ,1978, 1980, 1982 , and 1985 , Good times back then
Got both the album and the cd today. Great album! Everyone needs to check this one out!

So Appreciate that you shared this with us!!!
Your welcome 🙏
Nice video😃👍🤘
Best album since Strays for me voice is still great guitars tops all round Tops 🎸💫 reminds me of Montrose at there best
Neil Carter is underrated as a musician.
There is only ONE Phil Mogg!!!!
Very true !
Correction 1986
Jeez i would sell a kidney if it meant Phil Mogg would write his autobiography.
Mogg/way and sign of 4 songs along with the new album would work really well.
