  • I have tried to include everything you need to know on how to setup and perform the DJI NAZA compass calibration. Below are some related links that I mentioned in the video.

He connects Channel 6 (AUX1) from the receiver to U on the NAZA

Very nice :) I love this idea of failsafe on demand, until now the only way for me to have one was to turn off my radio! I made my calibration dance the way you executed it at the end of your video :)
I heard about the magnetic delination. If i understood correctly, for example:
    Magnetic declination: -14° 57' WEST
It means i should move GPS about 14 degrees to the left?
Thanks for your great video :)

I think you are right about the dec.
If you have it wrong the quad will toilet bowl in the opposite direction when in a GPS mode hover. I will add a link to the toilet bowl video under the description for ya.

Is it ok if I have GPS-Failsafe-Manual in this order to do the naza dance?

Hi i have tried the naza dance but after calibrating in the vertical, the solid green light remains on, How do you get the 4 green flashes?
    Thanks

Travers Tennant Could be you have a GPS fix or the calibration didn't finish. That can happen. You have to flip between manual and GPS mode to initiate the dance, but you can be in any mode to do the dance. At the end of the video I flip to manual before doing the dance thus end up with no flashes at all. Try that.

Thanks for creating a great informative video. Just what I needed. Very easy to follow. I have a 450mm frame that pretty much looks like yours. Was wondering about the landing 'feet' you have. Did that come with your frame or is it home built and if so, what is under the foam wrapping? Thanks

It just pipe insulation tubes from the hardware store and some bottle caps. The bottle caps are held by a rubberband attached hooked on a paperclip. There is nothing inside the tubes.

Thanks for the reply. Sometimes its the simple things that work best. But SOMEONE has to think of it. Gonna try this. It looks very stable. Not apt to topple.
