  • Learn the Karachi progression, an inversed version of the Ayub rhythm! It is commonly agreed that this is not a Pakistani Darbuka Rhythm and is not really from Karachi, so we don't know where the name really comes from!
    If playing with 2 drummers, Karachi can be overlain over the Cifte Telli or the Malfuf for a great combination!

    I am from karachi there are rythms from old african music who came as slaves to the region of india that time
