I like how the focus of the movie basically says "Not everybody can afford to buy brand new things. They have to use hand-me-downs and pre-used things." Growing up in a...financially unstable family, I get it.
They need to bring back movies like this where they weren't scared of putting adult humor and entendres in children's movies. The whole point of jokes like those is that kids aren't going to get it, but adults can have a nice chuckle in secret understanding. I would love to see unique and original movies like this one being made again and I am NOT talking about a stupid remake.

What was she referring to when she said making the baby is the fun part
Hey i don’t understand what is this joke means: you missed the delivery’’
Can you explain for me ?
Thanks❤
“But it’s ok, making the baby’s the fun part”
*Boy did I misunderstand that when I was a kid*
This is the peak of the image of Robots. No AI, no advanced technology, just gears and springs and loose nuts
I loved this part when I saw it when I was 3 years old. 17 years later, I realized there are way too many adult jokes. XD
3:04 for parents very useful
If only that could happen in real life
I wish we had that
Make a robot child then that would definetly works

“Romantic music in the background “

it *is* easy! just get a piece of cloth and some chloroform, put it over their mouth and nose and it will harmlessly quiet your baby!

*_hold up_*
Edit: Okay, the comment section is getting pretty woke ngl
im trying to understand. what does it mean?
@@nekonaddie it just means that these robots literally kept their parents eyes and nose so that they could attach them to their son. The reason I said "hold up" is because, if you think about it, that baby is gonna grow up with eyes and nose that belonged to people who died before he was born.
@@GSSMAV ohhhhhh pretty dark 😳 thanks
As a Mechaniac, i'd say its dark but reasonable since well, they're Robots, they can be using any Parts.
@@bluevoltahoge8695 true, but I meant it more as if it was real life
The adult jokes right at the beginning of the movie are just on point
“Making the baby’s the fun part” They knew what they were doing, and this part flew over my head as a kid. Now, as an adult, I get it XD
I like how the focus of the movie basically says "Not everybody can afford to buy brand new things. They have to use hand-me-downs and pre-used things." Growing up in a...financially unstable family, I get it.
1:11
"But it's ok. Making the baby is the fun part." OMG They were so clever to make this joke appeal to both kids and adults alike. Genius writing.
“This won’t hurt a bit son.” That soooo flew over my head the first time around
Wait explain
The animation's aged surprisingly well.
They need to bring back movies like this where they weren't scared of putting adult humor and entendres in children's movies. The whole point of jokes like those is that kids aren't going to get it, but adults can have a nice chuckle in secret understanding. I would love to see unique and original movies like this one being made again and I am NOT talking about a stupid remake.
i'm sorry, are you telling me you DON'T want a live action remake of the 2005 animated movie Robots? with Rodney being played by Chris Pratt? and Bigweld also being played by Chris Pratt?
@@thejuiceking2219 Absolutely not. I've yet to see a remake that held a candle to its original counterpart and they would suck all of the humor out because some of it isn't child appropriate or "woke" on top of making it a hyper realistic soulless CGI. No thanks.
I'm tired of remakes where I already know the story and "new" movies that either rehash the plot of iconic/well selling movies or try to force an opinion down your throat; I want something different.
@@imaniwilliams816 i agree with you for the most part, but also...is this movie also not trying to put forward a message?
@@thejuiceking2219 Yes, all movies try to portray a message! I wasn't saying that movies shouldn't have a point, just that I don't like it when they're very in your face and preachy about it.
I took my sister to see the Barbie movie for her birthday and while I liked the message, I didn't like the movie because it felt very forceful and kept loudly emphasizing its point in an excessive manner.
I don't really know if I'm explaining it right, it just feels like some movies are more awkward about getting their point across than others.
@@imaniwilliams816 so it's not a wokeness issue, it's a writing issue
i can agree on that
Love how this movie slips adult jokes in it

You should do that. I haven’t seen Robots in almost a decade and a half, and I saw the movie earlier tonight. Such a masterpiece.
So yes, re-watch it

This movie taught me a lot of valuable things growing up. For example not everything you’re parents give you is gonna be new or expensive. Sometimes they can only give you what they can. You gotta learn to appreciate what you have.

Man I dont even have a crazy amount of nostalgia and they really nailed the dynamic between the father and son. Not only is he so ecstatic to be a father, we see throguh the movie, his love for his son never wavers and thats what pushes him to be such a good father. He reminds me a lot of my own dad and I wish fathers were represented more like this. Many men want a family to love and protect. Its personally one of my biggest dreams to be a father
