Yes he was. If you already didn't check out also his performance in singing songs by The Doors (and with the remaining members of The Doors back then). Amazing.
More so a voice chameleon I think you mean lol. But yea he could sing a song and I might not know it’s him. Some singers sing and it takes not even a second to identify. But with Scott he can surprise you. I mean the dude had a Christmas album 😂😂😂first time I heard him sing Dancing days I was blow away.
@DISGRUNTLED DEWEY between 1939-1945 80 million people + or - 20 million people were killed. Atleast 20 million were soldiers, the rest were innocent people, God fearing people. At little over 500,000 of those people were America's finest. I'm not even going to go into the trenches or the Korean peninsula, Cambodia, Vietnam & Laos. Nor the 5 million children under the age of 5 that die every year because of desease & starvation. All of this happens under the watch of either A) a non-participant God or B) One whom happens to be sick, twisted, demented and evil. Those are your two options, the only two. So what's it gonna be? I choose the former as the latter is too horrible to even contemplate. Now then you tell me who is blind here? At the very least one of us is completely unobjective and it ain't me.
Legend has it Kurt met Scott in 93 backstage at a STP/L7 show when he approached Scott and says "So your the guy they say sounds just like me" with a big smile on his face. "If that's true wheres my cut?".. Scott supposedly reached into his pocket and handed Kurt a sweaty, crumbled up, one dollar bill instantly without any hesitation, and then continued making a sandwich. They say Kurt was highly impressed by Scott.
this was performance was so awesome, thank you so much, for uploading the video, my favorite artist Scott Weiland covering my other favorite artist Kurt Cobain.
You sound wonderful, Scott! Please, take care of yourself! I LOVE your music! I watched your band in Sao Paulo(swu), and I got mesmerized by your performance!

Great delivery On the vocals. With the same raspiness of kurts. The guitar parts were a bit tame, though. Apart from STP's own merits, guess the only grunge era frontman Weiland can't replicate is Cornell.
Damn he was such a great artist and vocalist. He was like a voice Chamaeleon and could change his voice so drastically to be honest. I miss Scott but I know he’s in a better place. And you guys that love Scott and his music check out his son‘s music Noah Welland. On his way as long as he doesn’t follow daddy’s footsteps I pray 🙏🏻
I think about Kurt everyday and what Nirvana would have been like today. I didn't know Kurt personally but I felt a connection through the music that he shared openly with the world.
And now Cornell is gone....Although my least favorite, Eddie Vedder is the last one standing. I don't think any generation has lost this many of its heroes like its been for Generation X and Y.
@@professorkaos2781Could never get into Pearl Jam. But of course my favorite band: Nirvana had the shortest stint. Ughh. Vedder sounds like someone that just got out of a car accident with his shaky lowbrow howling.
Scott is one of the few that can cover a nirvana song and do kurt justice !!
The guy was literally a Chamaeleon in the rock industry. Insane
