How would you not like this SUV? It's a beautiful car with a near premium interior and it has an excellent driving character and it has all the necessary safety features you need from a car. I love Mazda cars.👌 👍 😂

What do you mean near premium interior. I still think that it looks better than a BMW interior up to the year 2018 ofcourse

My wife has one. It’s the most uncomfortable car I have ever driven. It’s got terrible handling (in comparison to the European car brands I normally drive) the interior is “meh.” It’s very unreliable. (Broke down the first day we had it) and some of the designs features are terrible.

I own the 21 signature Soul Red. I love it
Very premium inside with the quilted Napa leather

Love driving my parent's 2021 CX-9 GT. They had a VW Atlas, and it was a lemon.

Was considering the Atlas until I saw nothing but bad comments from people. Looks really good, but must not be great itself 🤭

Just purchased the 2023 CX-9 Signature. I’m loving the way it drives, and the luxury feel of the interior. We went with the parchment Napa leather which we love!

Congrats man, I hope you get notified with this reply
I was gonna ask if the ride feels a bit stiff over long drives and how quiet does the cabin sound?
And the 2023 model year are still built in japan right?

In Australia this is the biggest SUV we have. In America, it's tiny lol.
Wish we had your cars here in Australia

I really like this! It looks very much like the Acura MDX from the outside. Almost identical.

Yeah, I went out for a Telluride and learned I’d have to wait 8 months for it to get built. I was able to get an excellent deal on a 2022 CX-9 Signature Twin with Turbo below MSRP, which is basically unheard of right now. It left room for an upgrade to 100,000 mile PT warranty. Great ride! I may cycle back around to the Telluride for the 2023 version. We’ll see how the Mazda does long term.

Congrats. I’m also looking into one myself. Also, it’s a single turbo inline 4

It's awesome but would be better if it had a touch screen as it did before. And if Ambient lights were fitted as with other new cars now. CX9 has no footwell lights either. Apart from that, a digital dash would make it compete again. The new model is being made, I know it will be number 1 when its out

Not enough power for a big suv like this. No pano roof? Get with it Mazda! Had a Mazda 5, now a CX5 and waiting for a new design CX9.

    • @Mrtellitlikeitis

Stop with the shit pano roof. No one uses sunroofs anymore plus it severely compromises structural integrity of the roof

I think the power is alright considering the 320 ft-lb of torque are available to at low RPM ( 2200-2500 I think ) this allows this fairly large SUV to move effortlessly and smoothly

    • @fentonajoseph
      @fentonajoseph ปีที่แล้ว +2

I own a 2021 and the power is more than enough. 310lb/ft torque will make the front wheels chirp when you floor it.

Who can service Mazda if there is no Mazda dealership nearby?

Just bought a 2020 Sport (lowest trim) for 28K with 25K miles. Nice car but suspension has creeks and thumps.

Hi, there. Trying to buy my second car and I'm torn between Mazda CX-9 FWD, Peugeot 5008 1.6L Allure and the Maxus D90 4x4 Premium AT.
Wanting to buy the Mazda but there are some features that aren't there that those other models have. And this model in the video is the top of the line variant. So, I'm still undecided. Any advice for a fairly new buyer and driver?

We bought a 2007 grand touring, while I really like the AWD, the heated seats the ride height. I don't like that it has Ford engine in it. The fog lights should already be yellow LED but are a off white which doesn't do much good in bad weather especially snowy conditions. Since it is AWD, you need to buy all four tires at one time. We have had issues with the coils, the computer of which there is more than one. Needless to say there have been ups and downs since we have bought it.

as info...... this is _not_ an SUV. being built on a unibody platform makes it a CUV. just a car with a slightly manly form without the rugged capabilities which come with a body-on-frame SUV.

Correction the CX9 was introduced in 2006 and has remained almost the same plus , minus interior and trim updates- not 2016 as you say. In 2016 it did get a new engine.

WTH are you talking about. 2016 is when this generation of cx-9 was released. You are referring to 1st gen.
