I've never even had a check engine light come on. I absolutely love this car and, if it ever starts to wear out, I will definitely get another Cx9. Very nice sir, and yea I liked that body style for the CX9 as well. Love how you get so much luxury for these cars, lack of a CD player is sad, fortunately the new Boss systems does sound good even with Bluetooth connection. Thanks again for the kind words!
I had a 2010 CX-9 for over 6 years and loved it so much! It was a step up from my Acura MDX, and it still looked and felt brand new when we got rid of it. My husband surprised me with a fully loaded Toyota 4Runner for our anniversary, and it felt like a huge step down to me. So, now we’re getting back into another Mazda CX-9! Such a fun car to drive, great sound, and much more cargo space that the 4Runner. It’s also just a lot more comfortable to be in.

Good review. First time I’ve seen you. Impressive 1:1 ratio between subscribers and views on this video. Just bought a ‘21 CX-9 carbon edition. Not sure if you’ve been in it, but those seats in combination with the chrome or aluminum interior bits and the rest of the interior...deadly gorgeous. We love the exterior color, too. I find tons of value in that model with so many features from the Signature trim and the one just below it while paying a chunk less. We don’t have AWD, the second row storage bin and exterior shiny bits, but I honestly don’t miss that and prefer the dark grill. We also love the high belt line and the feeling of being surrounded and comforted within the cabin and it’s large comfortable seats. I’ve heard some critique the large amount of space taken up by the transmission tunnel, I presume , but I honestly don’t mind as it just adds to that feeling of driving something substantial. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, Kevin, for another great review. I appreciate that you don’t spend the time that other reviewers spend on 0-60 mph tests and other stats. Those guys act like people live on a racetrack. At the end of the day, most of us are stuck in traffic commuting to and from work. So one thousand horsepower and a 2.5 seconds 0-60 time doesn’t help with that. Thanks again.
Nice job on your video. I test drove a bunch of '21, 3-row SUVs and that convinced us to buy a CX9 GT. From what I understand, most of the grips from the earlier CX9s model years have been addressed, like camera resolution, slow nav or infotainment functions. Mine work as expected, so no grips from me. I like the fact that the CX9 drives more like a car then the minivan-like SUVs, which to me handled like big boxes on wheels without the benefit of sliding doors. However, I would like to have had a 110 volt outlet like some of the competition.
My favorite midsize suv by far. That said, we now own a Palisade, mostly because my wife refused to look at the Mazda and it was her DD. That, and the Kia dealer was unwilling to come off msrp on a Telluride. Loving the Palisade so far though. I still like the CX-9 better, especially that new carbon trim.
Can you speak to the drive comparison between the CX-9 and the Palisade. Especially on the highway? I am intimately familiar with the CX-9 since I had a 2020 loaner for a month but my wife and I are in the market for an SUV and it really just comes down to either Palisade Limited or CX-9 Signature. @@cyberathlete I have never driven the Mazda CX9, but our Palisade is very smooth, quiet, and solid on the highway. Need better titles
How about you read the rest of the title instead of just reading the first 3 words
Why would you title this video "do not watch until..." when you absolutely nothing negative to say about it? You gushed so hard that I 100% believe you're getting kick backs somehow.
So I can't do much if you didn't go to school to read the rest of the title which said Dont buy without watching this review.
There's nothing negative about the title its all in that little tiny head of yours
Very misleading title. The video had no head or tail... It was all over the place. Why the hell were you comparing it to Audi??? Those two appeal to two completely different types of people.
No it’s written pretty clear you just need to read it
Looks dated, time to do a big makeover.
Still looks better than anything else in the segment
That is all in the eye of the beholder. Earlier this week was at a stoplight a CX9 and Telluride were side by side. To my subjective eye the Mazda simply looked more elegant in a sheet metal gray.
