Fun fact 1: Hades is not only king of the underworld but also god of riches since he lives underground he has access to all of the earth's precious metals and gems so his palace was so marvelous that the only place that could compare was Olympus itself. Fun Fact 2: When he gets angry or upset his fire turns orange and red which is actually colder than his normal blue fire and when he gets happy or excited his blue fire gets brighter and more intense, meaning it actually gets hotter. So Hades teaches that positive emotions are always better.
Do you not understand the concept of positive and negative? No one said negative emotions aren't important. They're still negative.@@PGbutalsofourteenplus
as a greek mythos lover, it does kinda hurt seeing hades as a villain. on the other hand, it’s an amazing depiction of hades and even if he is a bad guy, he’s SO iconic, and i can forgive that.
Same here! Hades x Persephone are my fave couple! Everyone I know takes issue with the fact he's her uncle, but I always have to (patiently) remind them that the gods were not related in the way humans are.

@@CamtheWolfGamer Actually after the war with the Titans Zeus, Poseidon and Hades were going to decide who would keep the three relms, Sky, Sea and Underworld by putting three marbles on a bowl, each representing one of the relms, and whichever one they took would be their kingdom, needless to say, Hades was the only one who didn't cheat and got the underworld, Zeus cheated first and kept Mount Olympus and Poseidon cheated to cut down his losses since the Underwood was seen as the worst place. Ironically, due to the fact that Hades was in charge of the Underwood, which was in the underground made him also the god of all of the riches of the Earth, from metals, gems as well as the fertile soil, which makes his relationship with Persephone even sweeter since she was the Goddess Of Spring, his palace was so majestic that only Olympus itself could possibly surpass it.

Fun fact: hades was originally a much more solemn and serious character, it was James Woods who turned him into the fast talking huckster we know and love.
They wanted him to be played the way Ralph Fiennes eventually played him in the Titans movies but Woods convincing them to let him play him as a fast talking loan shark was a brilliant decision.

@@Juju75663Well I’ve noticed that the best villain actors are usually nice in real life. I think the role gives them a chance to be a dick for a little while and they secretly love it lol
The fact that in greek mythology, hades is probably the best one because he doesnt cheat or rape people 🤩 Hes a fucking saint compared to accurate zeus 💀
Well Hades did kidnap and rape Persephone when they first met but after it was good. Compared to other Gods it's a better story. There's one telling of the story from the 1950 I think saying Persephone wondered into the underworld and decided to never leave, but it's not the original.
And even the one thing that Hades could be disliked for (kidnapping Persephone)? ALSO Zeus's fault, because it was his idea as Persephone's father (and therefore was kosher).
You certainly started 2024 off with a bang! Hades is a total sassy mood, and one of my favorite Disney characters. It’s great seeing him get appreciated. I hope you continue to slay in the new year!

Zeus, the god who couldn't keep it in his pants
