I just installed Koni shocks/struts with Swift springs. Also grabbed a set of Godspeed camber arms nearly identical to the skunk2 arms.
The install was easy enough. Took me about 5 hours.
I went to my local Firestone for the wheel alignment. The Technician said he wouldn’t be able to do the alignment because of my “modified suspension”...
Wish I had access to an alignment rack. I’d just do it myself.

Yeah unfortunately people at places like that are scared to touch something different. Find a real tire shop that sells aftyer market wheels and they would gladly do it.

Bout to say, if the tech ain't doing the alignment then either full of it or he doesn't know what he's doing; most machines I know of including Snap-On and Hunter Engineering should be equipped to adjust rear camber in addition to front toe alignments. Know this because I did alignments as a tech myself for years.

Lol this video was awesome. Got some funny dudes at the shop! Thanks, im about to install truhart shocks with skunk2 springs and may get camber arms beforehand so i can get the alignment proper!

Very nice detailed video, I’m in a area of Florida where not a lot of people like to work on Honda so I gotta do all my suspension work myself unfortunately

you can also adjust the camber on the front if you get a camber bolt for the top strut bolt to the knuckle

When I installed the Godspeed project camber arms, I would get a clunk on my right passenger side. If I go for Skunk2 or Ksport I am sure hoping this problem doesn't occur.
It even looks as if my right rear passenger side doesn't sit at the same level when on jack stands, maybe something is wrong, idk.
the part that screws into the arm and corrects the camber is loose and moves up and down when I would pull on the tire.
Maybe my car is too low? I had to reinstall my stock ones because- I was afraid all the up and down clunks would snap the screw in part of the camber arm.
I just realized that the alignment place I went to never locked the nut to the middle, they left it all the way out towards the wheel.

Finally realized why my car pulls right. One of the ACR was installed with the threads longer than the other. Resulting in the wheel/tire sticking out further than the other. So, I have to get under there and measure them to be equal length.

A Brian Lewis Vlog Found out that my Skunk2 Rear Camber arm bushing gave up the ghost. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I now need to replace the arms because I no longer trust Skunk2 parts. I don’t even drive it hard.

T- Mills man I only got to drive my car about 2-3 months after installation before I decided to sell it to focus on getting out of debt. Good to know for my next build! Sorry this happened to you bro.

Sometimes u don’t need to add a camber kit to the front ... u can always loosen the 2 bottom strut bolts and it might move on it’s on just enough....to where u won’t need a camber kit

I have a question for the Honda community - I have a 2016 civic EX with both rear wheel suffering from negative camber. Both tires are wearing on the inside bad, and it’s very noisy on the road. I was told the ONLY fix for this issue is an aftermarket arm which “adds” rear camber adjustment which would otherwise not be an option.
As an engineer this makes no sense to me. Why are we not instead seeking to find out what part failed/wore out and replacing that part instead? For example, if I take my car to a Honda dealership, how would fix this issue? Would they really buy an aftermarket/non-Honda part to fix this issue? Surely they would replace OEM parts with OEM parts to restore proper alignment, right?
I’m trying to avoid buying an aftermarket chamber adjustment kit and instead replace OEM parts. So far I replaced the rear shock absorbers and that did not fix the problem (no change in negative camber). I was thinking I would replace the springs next but I’m reconsidering after all the videos I keep finding with people using the aftermarket kit…

I just installed the camber kit to mi son’s civic si 9gen,and the final alignment came with positive toe on the rear,
0.40 left rear 0.45 right rear how this is going to affect the life of the tires
