Here's my theory: The Mega Godzilla must have been the alpha of all Godzillas. So when the Kongs captured it and killed it, the Godzillas followed to the temple and ambushed the Kongs for revenge. Most of the Kongs died but the remaining few managed to flee to Skull Island along with the surviving members of the Iwi tribe.
@@akilahgrace586 how about no humans in the story but have someone narrating the entire war with a British accent, so that we have context for what’s going on
It's possible that when the Mega Gojira was ambushed and brought to the temple, a horde of Titanus Gojira were tracking it to the Kong's stronghold. Perhaps the Mega had let out a distress roar that caught a wandering Gojira's attention, and they in turn rallied a swarm to evict the Kongs from the Hollow Earth. For them, this incident of bringing down the Mega may have been the final straw for the Gojira.
i think the power of the temple may have drawn them there cause if you watch when the temple activates Godzilla scenes the power through his scales maybe since the are all related in a way the power is like telepathy for the gojira species
Amazing content Goji, I am literally in so much anticipation for every video based on the level of detail, consistency and absolutely stunning art style! Haven’t seen this one yet, but I know I’m gonna enjoy it.

I find it interesting that the mega gojira looks like it would have been a land species considering the leg structure looks like it would be made for running and overall land travel while the gojira we know and love is an aquatic variant.
Maybe Kong species were defeated by Gojira in the final stages of the war. And they migrated to settle a new home on Skull Island. Or even worse, there're probably more terrifying titan species hiding out there in the Hollow Earth that drove Kong species away. So that's why they never returned.
This is like my third that's a shame but what I think happened with the Kong's after awhile got back the axes but do not fully charged and then in small Godzilla who was let's say 80 or 90 m stumbled upon them and challenge them to battle is Godzilla easily overpowered them with his atomic breath as long with some help of the skull crawlers in which a war broke out the long Godzilla or the one and only survivor killed all of the Species but left to alive and told them to go to the surface or Parish but in this moment of freedom the comes thought the the Godzilla told the skullcrawlers to follow them and perish them from existence this failed that's living the events of gvk
This could be Really far off but possibly not. Could the metamorphic completion of the shimedahs be this other titan species. Or perhaps a skull crawler titan and its colony or young had chased them to the surface perhaps. The skull crawler megaspecies or megaspecimen could have been more intelligent and/or patient than the most crawlers. It could have witnessed the initial battle and the colony ambushed them. This could also explain why the skull crawlers were on skull Island and actively pursuing the Kong species. The shimidah could also be a thing. perhaps the axes were reserved for specific use and they had other weapons to hunt with. The shimidah metamorphs could have ambushed them from below the ground or even from above because of the dual surface nature of hollow earth. Could the shimidah be the Yamato no orochi species?( I just think this because of artwork I has seen commonly portraying it as a multi jawed worm like organism. I don't think gojiras would have been the case otherwise I'd expect damage to have done to the structures. I haven't read any of the comics so if any of this is remotely correct or completely incorrect could anyone who read this let me know. Then again I'm not sure what the pace at which the novels are released.
the axe was probably lodged to far into his skull , so they may have left it there , but since the bones started to wither away it would've been easier for kong to pull it out.
@TheGreenEyedMonsterTruck you're kinda right and that Alpha Kong was experienced and expert against the Godzilla Where as the present Kong wasn't and obviously he lost because of that reason
Wait what if they just left the axe there becuase it was hard to get it out but do remember they harvested the meat so what i think happen was they either forgot or it was deeply stuck in goji bones if it was deeply stuck in the bones it might just be like what he said millions of years so it aged over time
Interesting. I would say that the possible reason why the Kongs never came back after forging the weapons from the Mega Gojira specimen they killed and closed the door behind them is probably that they got ambushed by other Gojiras outside of the temple. Here's how this goes. After forging the weapons from the dead Mega Gojira species, the Kongs left the temple because the axes they made needed to be charged with Hollow Earth energy so that they could go toe to toe with the Gojiras and as they closed the temple's doors and were about to leave (possibly to gather food or something), the other Gojiras came in and attacked the Kongs. The Gojiras were winning the battle, killing all of the Kongs until one of the Kongs, now wounded, tried to enter the temple and get the weapons but as the said wounded Kong specimen tried to open the door with one bloodied hand, he was immediately grabbed by the Gojiras and got killed. This would also explain the red Kong handprint on the temple's door that we see in GvK when Kong entered the temple for the first time. Edit Update (Jan. 10, 2022) - It seems I noticed some mistakes in my theory so let me try fixing this and thanks for those who pointed it out. Here's how this goes. After forging the weapons from the dead Mega Gojira species, the Kongs left the temple because the axes they made needed to be charged with Hollow Earth energy so that they could go toe to toe with the Gojiras. They left the temple for reasons unknown (possibly to gather some food or materials to make more weapons against the Gojira Species). However by the time they got very far from the temple, they encountered a large group of hostile Gojira Species (who are probably going to rescue the Mega Gojira Specimen that the Kongs killed). Angered by the death of their Mega Gojira compatriot, the Gojiras attacked the Kongs and the Gojiras were winning the battle, killing all of the Kongs. After killing the Kongs, the Gojiras left and few moments later, other Titans like the Skull Crawlers and the Warbats swoop in and started eating the remains of the dead Kongs that were killed by the Gojiras until very few bones remain. If you remember, there is a scene GvK were Kong and the two Monarch HEAVs approaching the temple, you'll notice that there is a skull of a Kong specimen that is embedded onto the ground. And that is probably where the Kongs were attacked and killed by the Gojiras and their dead remains eaten away by other predatory Titan species like Skull Crawlers and Warbats.
But the fact that there r no skeletons of kings outside means the kings weren’t near there temple cause Godzillas don’t most of the titans don’t need to eat and even if they were eaten there should have been at least a few bones outside the door .I think the print was made from a bloody hand but at a diff time. I also don’t think godzillas can work together cause then why did Dagon and Godzilla stay away from each other rather than staying together. There’s also the fact that some kings went to skull island were the skull crawlers rolled them and killed them.I think the skull crawlers ambushed them when they were searching for a new home being expelled by godzilla or a member of his species
its because to power all of them, one axe ( this is just my theory btw ) needs to have energy from the hollow earth. That's why kong put the charged axe in the ground so all the other axes would charge aswell. This is true because after he placed down the axe, all the axes (which were formed in a circular motion ) started charging. Here's the timestamp : 4:30
“You shall be sacrificed to Monke.” That really got me, respect bro! And as for what happened to the Kongs’? I think they were ambushed by a bunch of Gojira specimens, including Godzilla himself, and were either killed or driven from the Hollow Earth for good.
It's likely that at this point of time Godzilla would have still been a young laying meaning that he could have literally been about 30 or 60 m in height
Another theory: the mega gojira that the kongs captured was weakened in previous battle by some other kaiju like a very powerful kong or ghidora, etc which is why the gojira couldn’t use its atomic breathe not having enough nuclear radiation to use it again where the kongs later kill it, going outside to find other materials like vine/rope to hold the dorsel plate and leg bone together to forge another axe where they later get ambushed by 2-3 other gojiras that were lured to the area after hearing a sort of call/cry for help from the mega gojira. The kongs all get slowly slaughtered while a very injured kong tries to open the door to the temple with a bloody hand from all the blood everywhere as it gets dragged away and killed.
The kongs would have not been able to past the gojira skin with those axes i think , as we saw they needed that Axe to be charge with gojiras atomic beam
I would be willing to guess that because the Kongs have fought the skull-crawlers for so long that their brains were hardwired to recognize anything that looked vaguely similar to a skull-crawler to be dangerous, this might have caused the first conflict between the species, and then the Kongs discovered the value of their enemies body parts.
So a long snout with sharp teeth=bad for the Kongs and they didn't bother with checking before to see how this would affect the future of their relationship?
@@thalmoragent9344 most kongs dont care about their relationships with other species and if they think its a skull crawler they arent gonna be nice to it
@@codysmith3531 Well. Maybe if they cared more about the relations, then a war wouldn't have broken out from them being so brazen... like wild monkeys 😅
When you mentioned that a kong is no match for an adult gojira, you forgot that our godzilla is kinda beefed up and has been beefing up since 2014- with Mothra and the thermonuclear stuff massively boosting him.
Well, should also consider the fact that our boy, legendary is just starting to come out of adolescence meaning that he is very young compared to other Godzillas. Probably ancient Godzillas were stronger.
@@IntrovertedRock1Bro, he's a full grown Godzilla specimen by 2014. Godzilla 2014 is most likely the general type for the ancient Godzilla as well The only reason he looks different and grow bigger is because Adam Wingard wanted his own version of Godzilla for KOTM 😅
@PuteqX no bro, i didn't meant it like that i promise. i'm a huge Godzilla fan, like Slade said i just thought how the kongs managed to kill such a massive gojira
This absolutely needs to become fully canon in some ancient flashback scene as a cold open in the next Kong film. It would be so cool to see, especially the idea of an ancient Mega-Gojira designed like the one here. And to see the type of tribe the Kongs were. I prefer the first idea as it's not only much cooler but gives me big Predator vibes, which I think fits the Kong species nicely. And that final thought of how they mysteriously disappeared is seriously haunting. Overall, an amazing video from an amazing channel. Def subscribed now.
The fact Kongs gould have caused destruction to nature like humans is interesting. Also the fact that Kongs might have captured a giant titan is just impressive. Hope we get some more facts in the next Kong film.
I think it was easier that that was a war room, where the kong's talked about the war, strategies and etc, then the megagojira decided to invade there alone and was killed
The Titanus Kong species likely belongs to the Pan genus along with bonobos and chimps, they are carnivorous, smart as hell and also adapted to warm climate environments as african chimps did, the kongs' skulls are also much more similar to chimps' than gorillas, kongs have little to no sagittal crests on top of their large brain casings, unlike gorillas who have little brain casings like orangutans and pretty big sagittal crests to substain their developed jaw muscles to eat hard vegetables
@@wisekong6371 It is also worth remembering that when compared to Kong's size, to a chimpanzee and a gorilla, he is proportionately more like a chimpanzee
After watching this video, I have thought on how they weaponized the plates. What if they need to extract the plates while the Gojira still alive? If they kill the Gojiras before the extraction, the plates would be useless, as in they won't absorb the atomic rays because the plates are "dead". So they need the Gojiras to be living just so keep the plates "alive" and useful. That could also play a part in the ceremonial sacrifice: tie the mega Gojira down while the Kongs extact, or to be more precise, _rip off_ , the plates from its back before the alpha delivers the blow. One thing for sure, it would be very gruesome.
I think bone plates absorb radiation naturally, without the need for brain impulses, because that's what we see in the movie, the plate absorbing Godzilla's ray naturally
Yes, I think those are the plates of 'common size' godzillas like the godzilla we see today. That's why the plates have atomic rays in 'em. As Gojicenter said in this video, the mega godzilla might didn't have atomic ray, and it'd be too OP for this mega guy to have that thing.

If the mega gojira wasn’t capable of producing atomic rays, doesn’t that mean the dorsal fin isn’t capable of glowing as well? When Godzilla uses his atomic rays, he glows blue, especially his dorsal fin just like that ax, which is a spike from the mega gojira. Unless they just glow for other purpose
If I may so humbly give my thoughts. Two things might be the reason, the first one and probable one is that as it is said here, these gojiras don't have the ability to spew atomic rays, *but* its later cousins have, my guess is that these gojiras may simply have not yet *acquired* their atomic powers, rather, it's more of a *latent* ability that they could have acwuired through time. Second theory is that they already have these atomic abikities, but being tied down and probably weakened by a great amount, the gojira that was executed here probably has no more fire power left to use its atomic breath/rays. Hence why it would be easier to kill. And just in case though, if you think about it, even of they have atomic rays. The Kongs will just use the axe to absorbed it, rendering their rays useless and tiring them more.
I'd like to point out that the vertebra and rib cage suggest it was on its back when it was killed. Notice the ribs point upwards while the spin in on the ground
Just a thought, the Kongs could’ve left the hollow earth to escape from the struggles of living in there, since they were always exposed to risky factors such as others species trying to take over them and also the deadly environment of the hollow earth, so they thought that going to the surface with the natives(I forgot their tribe’s name) would be a good idea, leaving all those problems behind to seek for a new peaceful life. That’s the reason why they left the axe there, because they didn’t want to keep fighting and they also thought there wouldn’t be any Godzilla’s at the surface.
Would be nice to humanize them so much, but the story requires kongs to be noble protectors of their sacred land. In reality they would be giant, lazy, poo throwing tricksters.
Huh. I was always under the impression that the Throne Room had been assaulted by Gojiras who slaughtered all the Kongs, with a single casualty. Further extrapolation made me think that perhaps upon a first interaction between the species a small amount of Kongs were killed or chased off, and then a few of them banded together and ambushed a Gojira, killing him and using his spine to make weapons. The Gojiras didn't take that very well and assaulted the Kong center, killing (almost) everyone.
LOL highly unlikely, we already see in GvK that it's still relatively difficult for a Gojira to take down one Kong, so the theory that the Gorija entered the temple and only suffered one casualty is highly unlikely. Also, If i'm correct the war between the two alpha species way longer than that.
@@goofy-se6no Yes, Kong, unfortunately, dislocated his shoulder, an unfortunate incident. That doesn't mean it will happen every time a Gojira fights a Kong. You talk about round 3, but ignore round 2 where it's proven that the axe, apparently which a lot of Kongs have, is a huge difference maker.
Love this channel and how it explains some of the lore. I showed a couple of your videos to my nephews and this helps them become fans of Godzilla and the MonsterVerse.
King Kong is swinging that thing waaayy faster than 60 miles per hour. See 4:17? He's bringing it from above his head to the ground in about 0.25 seconds. Say he starts at 125 meters. That means he's swinging it at 500 m/s, or about 1,800 km/h. He's breaking the sound barrier every time he swings that thing around. Say the axe head is a rough triangle shape, 10m wide, 20m long, 100 m^2, maybe 1ms wide? With density around 1.4 g/cm^3, that thing is weighing in at around 28 tons, giving it around 3500 megajoules of energy, around the explosive equivalent of nearly a kiloton of TNT.
60 mph is the "official" figure. but your calculations sound about right. To be fair, in this film, kaiju move a lot faster than in the previous MV films because these sequences were more "action packed" and slow moving lumbering kaiju fighting like in 2014 or 2019 would have killed the momentum in this film. That's why here you see kaiju moving and swinging a lot faster than they would in real life. But you do make a good point in that realistically those impact forces would be a lot greater than the "official" figures.
@@GojiCenter Oh ya, sorry, I'm not really familiar with the films, haha kind of stumbled on your videos and thought they were neat despite only kind of knowing about the films. Just saw him swing that thing down that quickly and thought "hot dang that's fast!" and wanted to figure out how quick and how hard it was hitting. Nothing on you if that's the official figures :)
Maybe the mega gojira was weakened after a battle, then dragged into the temple to be executed, because he was weakened instead of a atomic blast he did the alpha rawr, making the kongs kill him to not draw in more gojiras to attack but they were to late at left to preserve the temple, and there legacy.
I think however that described in the father of Godzilla and that is why Godzilla hates kong so much an actor this Godzilla found the temple when the kongs were and killed all of them including the Alpha
10:33 I think you're right about the theory of why their tools were left behind and the door was closed but I'm going by the factor that the mega species of Godzilla was the alpha of others of its species and it perhaps became of some sort of killing ground outside but who knows
It's possible that the other Gojiras noticed that the mega was missing and tracked him to the temple. When they found the scene, they went berserk and fought the Kongs until the vast majority of both sides were slaughtered.
I think the Kong’s had moved to a place “safer” from the Godzillas, but not the skullcrawlers. They probably figured out where they lived after they left the hollow earth. Next to the skull of the mega gojira species, there’s a hole. Maybe the Kong’s went down there to escape hollow earth.
I think that this “execution” was the start of the war between Gojira’s and Kong’s. Hence why the weapon was left behind. It being ceremonial, it wasn’t built for war. They likely left to fight the war and never returned.
Hmmm... the only problem I see with this theory is the fact that the Axe was still made with a Gojira dorsal plate. If this execution was the beginning of the war, how did they already have the axe?
@@jasonking7570 remember, Kongs are smart They probably found a dead Godzilla and looted the dorsal plate, not realizing it was a dorsal from a Godzilla until after they saw a Godzilla Then they killed it and put two and two together
My theory is that this execution, the axe, was the final act of the war--winning it, leaving all their weapons behind (i.e. leaving savage war behind), and closing the tempal for good. Trying to live a peaceful life afterwards. Remember, Kong wants peace, and to be content in life. He hates war
They took a Queen, executed her, to come out to find an army of Megas waiting, but due to her execution they were not able to reproduce leaving the survivors of the battle as the last ones standings if there was any until they died off eventually.
"You will be sacrificed to Monke." I am simultaneously delighted and horrified. Also, ritual sacrifice is no surprise at all, given the evidence of cruelty being heightened in the intelligent and how ubiquitous that precise behavior is among humans. Perhaps Gojis were the preferred sacrifice, and with only one left there was little reason to believe the temple would ever see use again. (On the other hand, it actually kinda makes me hope there will be more Kongs and Gojis hidden even further down in the Hollow Earth.)
I think it’s fully possible that the Godzilla of old were peacekeepers like legendary Godzilla. Kong being a war like great ape figured out that the scales from the Godzilla can be used as ultimate weapons. So in an effort to possibly fight against the skull crawlers, they lured Godzilla in and then executed them sparking off the entire war.
Here’s a theory on what could’ve happened: The Mega Gojira could have been merely an adult instead of its own genus, having lived as long as the Earth itself and had in the process dominated it. He was the first Gojira- the original king. I believe he had two sons, Godzilla, who took a Simba-like approach to the concept of dominance, eager to rule over the Titans, and Daegon, the hardened, older sibling who would undoubtedly and inevitably take the mantle once their father fell. Anyway, at the same time, the Kongs were developing their technology and breeding like rabbits. The Gojiras never saw a problem with this, at first. However they began to become too powerful. They levelled environments and built great cities atop the ruins. They slaughtered the natural wildlife that kept the balance the great reptiles strived to retain for sport and entertainment. The were taking much more than they needed, not unlike us humans do. This was not right. The Mega Gojira, who from now I shall call Kyojin (Titan in Japanese) knew that for sure. He gathered his finest troops and raided the nearest city, obliterating it with ease. The war had began. The attack sent the Kongs into a state of rage. They had done nothing to the Gojiras, never gone near their territory. They did not understand what they were doing wrong, they never had. And now it was too late. Fortunately, they predicted the next attack and held their ground. After felling several of their opponents, the opposition retreated. After examining the bodies, they discovered their unique, unbearably powerful capabilities, and the first weapons were created. The war raged on, one side never overtaking the other, two equal forces grinding together, no inevitable outcome to the chaos. However, on one fateful day, they successfully injured Kyojin, and brought him to their temple, where…well, you get the point. They had taken the Gojira’s leader, and torn him to shreds. They removed his scales and brought it with them as their trophy, planning to intimidate his troops and end the war in their favour. They got arrogant, however, and didn’t think to bring their weapons. They marched down to their ancient temple and showed the skin. They were slaughtered. Few escaped, collapsing the temple and causing it to flood before retreating to the surface- Skull island. We all know where it goes from there. Most of the Gojiras were dead, and many of the remaining beasts eventually succumbed to their wounds, leaving only Daegon and Godzilla. Daegon did not want to bother the Kongs any longer, and left then on that dammed island to die. For a while, he became King, until his violent death at the hands of MUTO prime. With no ruler, many of the titans began to slip up, causing chaos. However, when Godzilla killed Monster Zero and almost did the same to Kong, a truth was visualised. Nothing can stop the Gojiras. *Nothing*
Here's a gojira i came up with: there have been rumors of another gojira lurking near volcanic areas it has been reported to have a redish skin color and hardened black plates on certain areas of its body such as the arms, legs, chest, tail, and head, it has also been reported to emit high temperatures, this is known because when it walks around forest areas the trees catch fire, it is also larger than godzilla as compared to Mount Erebus (one of the volcanoes it has been sighted going to) it was about 129-146 meters tall, it also weekly goes into any lava source it can find and swims in it potentially hardening its black plates even further
My personal theory is that the megagojira was perhaps highly respected, if not the alpha of all the Godzilla species. When the Kongs captured him and dragged him away, many more Godzilla's went after them, probably witnessing the Kongs carry pieces of their alpha away from the temple. Upon seeing this barbaric act, (and that the Kongs didn't have their axes), the Godzillas quickly retaliated in a savage fashion. Because the Kongs were practically defenseless, and very likely outnumbered, the battle was more of a slaughter. Godzillas who had the atomic breath would stay back aways and roast the Kongs attempting to flee while the other Godzillas engaged in close quarters, tearing the Kongs apart, both figuratively and VERY literally. The aftermath of the battle is what led to kong's family fleeing the Hollow Earth and away to the relative safety of Skull Island. And the Godzilla species resurfaced to hunt down any Kong survivors. But they would find nothing, leading the Godzillas to believe they had wiped out the Kong species. Until Big G and Kong would face off in Shanghai.
Nah the kongs were likely more many bur due to the gojira race being better at every aspect except terrain adaptability kongs were as good as dead without weapons
@@vpxgamers2129 Godzillas are just as capable of adapting to terrain as much as kongs the adaptation would be more physical than mental and the kongs adaptation would be more mental than physical
They'd all have atomic breath, even the Mega Goji. The kongs would just need to make sure they all have one of those goji breath attracting axes to keep the Mega Goji from effectively using its atomic breath. I'm guessing that's why they liked using the temple, because the excess axes would help in containing a Godzilla's breath.
making theories about what happened to Kong to previous Godzilla in a dumb movie is just a waste of brain cells lmao here is my theory: Godzilla species can live hundreds of years but they aren't immortals I think due to old age that Godzilla lost its energy beam and the Kong species took advantage of that and bring that mf into their arena but Godzilla still managed to kill some of them before the champion kong killed him and then they left to the skull island because they thought it was the last Godzilla but they got surrounded by skull crawlers and only some barely managed to get to the skull island IDK i kinda want to see this on big screen ngl
My theory on why they didn't come back to the cave is probably because other mega gojiras noticed that one of their kind is missing and they Finnaly found the head in the cave while the kongs probably left the drink water or somethin, then the mega gojiras hunt down the kongs in a group and brutally murder them...
Theory: We're overlooking something massive here. The Ouroboros around the temple. It's a godzilla, or at least some kind of reptile and responded to Godzilla/Gojira energy the same way. So the "temple" as we're calling it, is probably not a temple at all, but a prison of some kind. A vault. Something is trapped in there, locked under the ground... And it's probably another alien Titan like Ogra. only in this instance, he was able to successfully absorbe a Godzilla and command other titans. Kongs are intelligent enough to resist those impulses the alpha titans use to control the others, which is why big G went after Kong in the first place. It's likely the Kong's banded together, fought off the other titans who were being controlled by it, and Locked the door on whatever is in there, then fled in fear of it ever getting out. And despite it being locked away, it's influence has all other titans chasing after or hating the Kongs, more specifically attuned to the Gojira/Godzilla species, so they got the hell out, not out of fear or fallout for the "war" but simply because they could no longer stay in their home and were hunted to the ends of the planet. Whatever is in the "temple" or the "vault" is going to upset the balance of power, because our new alpha, Big G, has gone and PUNCHED A HOLE IN THE PLANET. So I'm super excited to know what happens!
Interesting theory! Given the Kongs-Human tribe working together, there is a likelihood that the humans were the main architects of the Temple with the Kongs providing much needed muscle/reach. Though as to why the weapons, partial carcass, and the temple were left behind its possible that by slaying the Gojira, the society crossed a line. Slaying Skullcrawlers is one thing but its possible that the Mega was the first death, a routine sacrifice, which kicked off a war between Kong & Gojira. The temple could have been lost early on in the ensuing war. There are only a few axes but many Kongs so its likely that these were spares or belonged to already slain Kongs that never retrieved them
The fact that Titanus Kong have such intellect, almost on par with human. Will it be a stretch that in a few years they will evolve into Titanus Homosapiens and invent big tools that are more effective in combat? Like i a big gun, a big tank or even missiles that can track other titans.
Theory:What if the axes around the throne room were a way to honor the fallen brethren that the mega gojira killed? This could've happened after a gone wrong hunting party they couldn't defeat it and decided to trap it. And then killed it in there limiting its mobility which helped them strike the final blow killing it after all the hunters who died were honored by putting their axes in those places.Soon leaving behind their weapons to pay respect and taking the dead kings to another burial sight explaining the fact we see no Kong skulls. And why they left the place alone after like a burial sight.
It is possible that the Kongs could have been killed of by something that was not a Godzilla. The hollow earth is a large area with large Titans. I doubt Ghidorah ever made it to the Hollow earth, but what if they were killed by another possible Toho monster like Gigan or Megalon or perhaps a disease. I know those two have not been confirmed yet.
@@evanstevenson6722 sorry I meant to say the big Kongs died out for one reason or another and Kong’s Parents and others who may have me juveniles escape to Skull island and then the skull crawlers killed all but one
I think it was Space Godzilla because if u watched DangerVilles video on that concept from the GvK novelization where it states that a Gojira specimen ate a star and went rogue, resulting in the Kong's and Godzilla's teaming up on this OP Godzilla, which could still be alive and lurking within the hollow earth and is what drove the Kong's away to Skull Island.
10:15 The handprint looks like the new monster from (Godzilla and Kong the new empire 2024) I'm guessing the monkey must of found them and did something leaving a mark i don't know why but seems possible
In terms of the mega gojira, it could be that it had already expended it’s stored up atomic power. The Godzilla we know can fire off atomic rays/breaths fairly frequently because they’re in modern times. Remember, it’s fueled off of nuclear radiation, which humans had only began messing with very recently even in the setting’s timeline. That means the ‘modern Godzilla’ has a frequent source of power for atomic rays/breaths. The mega gojira could have simply ran out of juice; having fought against a large group of kongs, it’s likely that the mega gojira already fired off many atomic rays/breaths and was ultimately captured. Another theory is that they simply can’t due to how (most) kaiju work. Many of the kaiju in the newer movies run off of some form of power: electricity, heat (volcanic?), nuclear (radiation). While I am uncertain how they obtained a constant supply of nuclear radiation prior to humans making power plants, it’s not unfeasible… just to note that unlike ‘modern Godzilla’, the gojira didn’t have a steady source of power. The mega gojira on the other hand… how much energy did they need to move? As stated in the video, a mega gojira is *massive*, and it could be that atomic ray/breath was forgone in favor of using the atomic energy to support it’s much larger frame during combat. Essentially nitrous.
Maybe the kongs ambushed and kept the mouth of the gojira closed . Or another theory is that maybe the mega goji was already tired from fighting other titans like warbats or smth and it ran out of juuice and needed to rest to regain the breath
Did you forget that Mechagodzilla literally got his energy source from the hollow earth. So Hollow earth probably had a natural radioactive environment in such a way that the Gojiras can live in Hollow earth with "nuclear power plants" how are you this dense with logic and the process of deduction? Literally think how this universe works. And use deduction. You freaking tool!🤦♂️
It’s highly suggested the Godzilla we know today was the one who single handily drove the kongs to the surface of the planet. In the novelization it is stated Godzilla ate a star, was that him acquiring his atomic breath for the first time? Or was it mothra helping him go thermonuclear? We don’t know. But one think I know is, Godzilla drove them out somehow. And it had to be the most clutch thing in all of earths history to make a whole species flee towards a surface island.
@@benzelwasington4059 no, it specifically mentions only the current Godzilla. Yes other Godzillas were in the titan war, but it’s explained specifically the kongs tried to make him leave for a very long time but he would not. So they left. It says they fought him specifically.
@@Blake-vx6pd I can see Godzilla being the one to preferably keep the members of his species from engaging with the Kongs for too long given how his species was already dwindling due to Mutos parasitizing and killing them off. It's better to have the strongest of the species handle Kongs than risk them going unnecessarily engaging with them.
That axe could be the Excalibur of Kongs, someone stuck it into the skull and no other Kongs could pull it out, and it was jut left there. But our Kong is an expectational strong specimen of his species so he got it.
The Mega Goji could’ve called for his mates to come and try to save him, but they could not open the door, and then once the Kongs found out, they found another way to get out leaving the axe behind.
these are some very interesting theories, they sound insane! it would be cool if they can show this as a flashback in a future Monsterverse film nice work :D
I think it's extremely possible that the mega species in the temple was the last of it's kind and that leaving an axe in the last skeleton might've been a final goodbye to the Kongs' long time home. In a way, I think the more evolved versions of Gojira might have revered the last remaining mega as an elder of the Gojira genus. We know that Gojira can live very long life spans which means it's possible for the Gojira to evolve into new species over the lifetime of a progenitor species type Gojira. Seeing the size of the Mega Gojira leads me to think that it was a brawler typed kaiju and that the Godzilla we see today are an evolved version to take on the Kongs in a fight. Since the Mega Gojira didn't exactly have any way to easily win a fight against a group of axe wielding Kongs, they might have evolved to be smaller in order to increase agility and close combat prowess while also developing the Atomic Breathe as a deadly long range weapon. We already see Godzilla body Kong in GvK so this path of evolution seems to make the most sense.
Ehh yes and no. If there wasn't atomic breath back then it wouldn't make sense for the axe to able to hold a charge like it does and unless all of those kongs had some kind of rope or chains BACK THEN that could restrain it, I'd reckon that like someone else said back then that goji feed off of strictly natural radiation vs constant feeding from our modern shit. The alpha godzilla was pry burnt out and was led to that throne room by even just one kong who climbed up to the ceiling after sealing the chamber doors, waited for the alpha to run in and then hit him from behind
You think there’s also a chance Godzilla could grow into a mega species? Since he’ll most likely continue growing and if he gets to big he’ll probably have to go on 4 legs for faster movements
There were more than one axe and of different shapes and sizes of Godzilla’s dorsal spine, you can see them glowing when kong charged his axe Edit : I love that satellite view of kongs beating their chest after sacrificing the Godzilla
Hey Goji Center, what would have happened if the 2008 Cloverfield Monster faced off against a Female Muto? I'm curious to know who would win this fight.
We love and appreciate the content you post. I really admire as to how detailed and imaginative the points are and they do make sense at the same time . Do keep posting such content.
It's possible that they were ambushed by one of the Godzillas species, killing almost all of them but leaving the alpha left. They were evenly matched until they both decided to end it. The Godzilla manages to leave a lethal wound (plausible scenario) but finds itself with an Axe to its head - killing it. As for the Alpha, it either died in the lair or left. Who knows, maybe the Iwi were involved during the ambush. This may have furthered the casualties for the Kongs who attempted to protect them.
11:10 about that this Gojira mega species did not possess atomic ray capabilities. Maybe this particular specimen was born without atomic ray capability’s but it’s parents and other members of it’s species had. Like humans can be born without some organs, maybe it was born without the organ or ability to use a atomic ray. It might sound far fetched, but it’s a possibility.
I think there's a possibility that the mega Godzilla could have been the "last" Godzilla that they knew of. The kongs captured it, and Brought it to the temple to execute it in a ritualistic manner. Once dead, they left the weapons cause there was no more need for them. Aaaaand then the kongs got ravaged by whatever came next. Liiiiike skull crawlers!
This is very interesting. My Theory could be that some time after killing this Mega Gojira, the Kongs may have ended up facing a army of vegenful Gojiras lead by a younger or older Godzilla who may have wanted vegeance against them for using their kind as for sport and weapons. And this maybe one of the reasons why the Kong species never returned to the Hallow Earth until Kong himself came there hundreds of years later. That's my theory here.
9:43 I think the mega species can breathe atomic Breath but they could have held his mouth closed while keeping it down on the other parts of the body as well so it would not atomic Breath or otherwise it would destroy his head by using it's atomic Breath while his mouth was closed so that's one thing on how it died and have atomic Breath or maybe it's a feature that few mega gojiras have
10:39 Kong to Gojira species : You'll will get Hollow Earth energy when you'll fix this damn door 🚪 Godzilla: I'm gonna put some dirt in your eye & the war started 😄 🤣 😂
This, along with the fact that Godzilla had his own civilization that worshipped him, makes one wonder if it was a deeper meaning, maybe the Kongs didnt exactly like their neighbors and instead of peaceful coexistence, chose to subjugate and war with them. Would make sense as to why there was the Titan War, Godzilla's species are said to hold balance, keep things in order, and when you've got a race of giant apes going around slaughtering titans to make tools and gain territory, well that's not balance. I always took it as that Kongs species were the aggressors, considering other titans submit to Godzilla, maybe the designation for an "Alpha" Titan is sapience, both being on our level of intelligence, and the Kongs with their more human-like nature over the more alien and unknowable thoughts of the ancient Godzilla species.
The gojiras WERE the aggressors! They saw that the kongs were to intelligent for there own good and they were the only threat to the gojiras alpha status. In the hollow earth. From what the GVK novelization implies
A successful species will always expand, being smart just makes it much easier, and that is always a threat. I think the reason Godzilla keeps balance is because he is more your typical animal than the Kongs, contained by his environment.
I remember thinking during this scene that it seemed at least to me, that an epic battle happened here. Lots of dead bodies everywhere, the axes left behind and one still in the skull of a large godzilla and since it was stated that there was an epic war between the two species i took this as probably the climax to that, which drove the kongs out to live on the surface.
This is very fun speculation of how this mega Godzilla speciesism died by the hands of a group or clan of Titanus kongs. Maybe future MV material might answer these questions that the film cut out from the final product.
Guys absolutely love this video and let's take a moment to admire the animation of this channel really awesome stuff guys. Oh and in my opinion I think the Kong and Gojira feud probably increased deu to the Gojira learning that the kongs had been executing them which drove the Gojira to force the Kongs to migrate and find a new home.
My theory is that this Mega Gojira was the one hinted at for Spacegodzilla, who went power-hungry and wanted to absorb radiation from the core. When the rest of the Gojira species found out, they ambushed the Kongs and made sure that the temple were to be sealed shut to let their brethren rest
My theory would be that if the Kong species executed the Mega, that invoked the Gojiras to attack and start a war altogether. Perhaps the Mega was their Alpha at the time or a valuable asset to their species and his death was sensed by the Gojiras. The Kong's did not expect a swarm of Gojiras to directly attack them so they didn't exactly have time to gather their weapons when it started.
You’re not mentioning that the group of Kongs responsible for the mega Gojira were probably much bigger than the Kong in the movie as the movie Kong was not full grown. Or did I miss that?
I think the temple had mystic powers that drained the Godzilla of its breath. Once inside the pillars ignited causing confusion, then the last Kong ambushed him. Almost like the final scene in Predator 1. After the final blow, Kong felt there was no need for the ax anymore. He climbed up to skull island and was worshipped. Never to return to hollow earth again. Over time he mated with other Kongs and eventually died out due to the skull crushers reign.
Now, I like to know why the Kongs did leave that temple and never came back, man I'm thinking that there's something in there that the Kongs have that was too powerful to kill or something. Oh, great there's another theory.
6:50 it causes paralysis and death at the same time? That’s super interesting. Just one question. What causes death but not paralysis at the same time?
I think the kong species is very underated. Is it so hard to think for instance the alpha in this specific scenario was the one that took down this Gojira?

The Mega Godzilla must have been the alpha of all Godzillas.
So when the Kongs captured it and killed it, the Godzillas followed to the temple and ambushed the Kongs for revenge. Most of the Kongs died but the remaining few managed to flee to Skull Island along with the surviving members of the Iwi tribe.

Very cool
I think the Kongs thought it was the last Godzilla. They could have shut the door, thinking they had won. Then died out of what amounts to boredom.
And in the wake of it’s death, Godzilla became the next alpha.

Maybe Kong species were defeated by Gojira in the final stages of the war. And they migrated to settle a new home on Skull Island. Or even worse, there're probably more terrifying titan species hiding out there in the Hollow Earth that drove Kong species away. So that's why they never returned.
That is a good point, a species as smart and as fast to reproduce as kongs would easly dominate if they won so your point makes sense.
Maybe an unused Toho property would be cool 🤔
I wonder what that new and terrifying species was?
the axe was probably lodged to far into his skull , so they may have left it there , but since the bones started to wither away it would've been easier for kong to pull it out.
lets not forget muscle and fat etc
Or Kong might just be stronger than his ancestors.
@TheGreenEyedMonsterTruck you're kinda right and that Alpha Kong was experienced and expert against the Godzilla
Where as the present Kong wasn't and obviously he lost because of that reason
that’s actually a really smart hypothesis
And that is probably where the Kongs were attacked and killed by the Gojiras and their dead remains eaten away by other predatory Titan species like Skull Crawlers and Warbats.
i soooo agreed
That is... actually a very good theory for a scenario that could've happen...
Cool theory, but I think this whole war process was pretty long, the kind that would take years to end the war
And the not all the axes were left to charge up cause one was stuck on gojiras head.there is no explanation given for it
4:47 took me awhile to notice but there’s 2 other axes at the right side that aren’t powered up
its because to power all of them, one axe ( this is just my theory btw ) needs to have energy from the hollow earth. That's why kong put the charged axe in the ground so all the other axes would charge aswell. This is true because after he placed down the axe, all the axes (which were formed in a circular motion ) started charging. Here's the timestamp : 4:30

the mega gojira that the kongs captured was weakened in previous battle by some other kaiju like a very powerful kong or ghidora, etc which is why the gojira couldn’t use its atomic breathe not having enough nuclear radiation to use it again where the kongs later kill it, going outside to find other materials like vine/rope to hold the dorsel plate and leg bone together to forge another axe where they later get ambushed by 2-3 other gojiras that were lured to the area after hearing a sort of call/cry for help from the mega gojira. The kongs all get slowly slaughtered while a very injured kong tries to open the door to the temple with a bloody hand from all the blood everywhere as it gets dragged away and killed.

That would make a very cool 3d animated short
Yes, I think those are the plates of 'common size' godzillas like the godzilla we see today. That's why the plates have atomic rays in 'em. As Gojicenter said in this video, the mega godzilla might didn't have atomic ray, and it'd be too OP for this mega guy to have that thing.

When Godzilla uses his atomic rays, he glows blue, especially his dorsal fin just like that ax, which is a spike from the mega gojira. Unless they just glow for other purpose
Maybe the mega type used it’s dorsals as an intimidation method
Just a thought
Goji centers talks aren't always true
@@thedog2123 Another option is that the Kongs tied the Godzilla's mouth closed, preventing them from blasting anyone with the atomic breath.

If it's about what made Godzilla suffer the most, it was the muto prime, now the strongest, it was the Ghidorah or the mecha

Also there being one gojira sadness and sorrow
LOL highly unlikely, we already see in GvK that it's still relatively difficult for a Gojira to take down one Kong, so the theory that the Gorija entered the temple and only suffered one casualty is highly unlikely. Also, If i'm correct the war between the two alpha species way longer than that.

Thank you Goji Center for answering the question that I have had since Godzilla vs Kong's release
Here’s a theory on what could’ve happened:
The Mega Gojira could have been merely an adult instead of its own genus, having lived as long as the Earth itself and had in the process dominated it.
*Nothing*
This is beautiful! It all makes sense now.

I will agree with you
making theories about what happened to Kong to previous Godzilla in a dumb movie is just a waste of brain cells lmao
here is my theory:
Godzilla species can live hundreds of years but they aren't immortals I think due to old age that Godzilla lost its energy beam and the Kong species took advantage of that and bring that mf into their arena but Godzilla still managed to kill some of them before the champion kong killed him and then they left to the skull island because they thought it was the last Godzilla but they got surrounded by skull crawlers and only some barely managed to get to the skull island
IDK i kinda want to see this on big screen ngl
My theory on why they didn't come back to the cave is probably because other mega gojiras noticed that one of their kind is missing and they Finnaly found the head in the cave while the kongs probably left the drink water or somethin, then the mega gojiras hunt down the kongs in a group and brutally murder them...
I’m subscribed to your channel and I have always been subscribed to the channel and I love Godzilla and Kong that’s why I watch your videos
Hmm, that makes sense of the Kong "bloody" handprint on the door. It was a warning, "here lies death".
But why would it have a thorne
I don't think Kongs are resistant to alpha calls because of that I just think that certain species naturally have the title of "alpha".
Uroboros it's the center of the earth's axis, which radiates evolutionary energy, forcing stupid kongs to evolve.
You might not be far off given what we saw in the teaser for "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire!"
There are only a few axes but many Kongs so its likely that these were spares or belonged to already slain Kongs that never retrieved them
Am just blown away how accurate the simulations are and the stories, goji centre ur mind blowing
That is the worst run on sentence I've ever seen.
Punctuate bruh....
It is possible that the Kongs could have been killed of by something that was not a Godzilla. The hollow earth is a large area with large Titans.
Or maybe the mega gojiras can only charge up their atomic breath at a speed of...mach -2.........inverse mach speed........f**king snail's pace....
And it had to be the most clutch thing in all of earths history to make a whole species flee towards a surface island.

nice work :D
Your stuff is beautiful! Thank you for keeping the MonsterVerse alive in your own unique way!

Thing is Godzilla is smart too the way he can adapt to fights.

Dont known going of By kong’s natura alone Shows hes neither aggresive or harming the island in any way not hunting the buffalos either

We need Goji Center to redo this video considering after Godzilla X Kong
No dude great theory ur completely Correct Kong is still growing
Damn i love the explanation keep it up thanks
You should do a trex vs spinosaurus face off
Also your my favourite youtuber, keep up the good work!
Yea do it goji center
6:50 it causes paralysis and death at the same time? That’s super interesting.
Just one question. What causes death but not paralysis at the same time?
I think the kong species is very underated. Is it so hard to think for instance the alpha in this specific scenario was the one that took down this Gojira?
overrated
You mean overrated and dirty
