I love they covered the puppet used for close-ups in _Godzilla Raids Again,_ which _does_ look like a puppet, but has one of my favorite elements of design for the creature, where it looks like Godzilla's got too many teeth for its mouth, bristling from its jaw like thorns. Along with the keloid-scarred hide, it really does make Godzilla look like some sort of radiation-altered mutant.
